Having issues uploading a pic. I'll try again in a bit.
DS'S sleep isn't improving at all. First stretch is anywhere from 2.5-4.5 hrs (usually the shorter end) then it's every 1.5 hrs and he screams bloody murder until I get him on the boob. DD was sleeping 6-8 hrs straight every night by this point. She was such a good sleeper. Sigh.
So sore from my workouts the last few days. I'll probably do some yoga today to stretch out.
DD has preschool this afternoon. I got to switch her to the 4yr old class so she's going 3 afternoons a week now.
Hey y'all!! Happy Hump Day!! It's all downhill from here.
It's blustery, cold, and snowing here today. H is sleeping after being on call last night, so I'm trying to keep DS1 as occupied and quiet as possible for a couple hours. I need to mop the kitchen floor at some point today. Later, when H wakes up, we'll drop his truck off at the dealership and get dinner somewhere. We usually go out for dinner the evening after he works nights.
DS2 slept from 9:30-7:30. Praise!!! He's usually good for 6-7 hour stretches at night, but this was a glorious first. I went to bed a little after 10 and slept till 6:15. Had it not been for the dog waking me up twice, I would have had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. It was close enough that I feel great, though. So awesome.

Good morning! My cold/cough is horrible! Toddler borne diseases are the worst. It's like they take a horrible cold and make it 10x worse before they pass it on to adults.
My plan for today is to do as little as possible. Preferably in bed. We will see if C will play along.
Here is a pic from a couple of days after Christmas.
DD2 was up all night with gas. No more raw veggies for me! We did a play group this morning that was kind of a disaster. But on to the to rest of the day. Trying not to doom the rest of my day by being so upset about a bad morning. Doing lunch now, then naps. Gotta straighten up the house and eat all the chocolate. I'd like to switch out all 3 month clothes for 6 month clothes too, but we'll see. I made a big creamy chicken noodle soup last night that we'll have tonight and tomorrow night for dinner. It was the first time i made it and the recipe was a little tricky, but I'm so glad to have a couple easy reheat dinners.

Hi ladies!
Stupid Tapa not letting me upload a pic. We had a rough night last night. G was fine; he woke up a little before 3 to eat. N, however, woke up when I put G down and refused to go back to sleep until 6. It's not even that he was up; he was angry when I went in. He was flailing and knocked my glasses off my face. So I barely slept from 2:45 to 7, when G woke up. N told MH that his room is too dark and that's why he doesn't want to sleep in there.
G had his 10 week appointment today. He's 24.5 inches and 13 pounds 4 ounces. Basically 50th percentile overall. We decided to make a separate appointment for N but didn't before we left. G got a shot and the oral rotavirus vaccine again. He was angry but fell asleep within a few minutes. I'm going to run to Kohl's later and maybe Ilta. Hopefully a nap will happen too.
Hi all! I haven't had a chance to read anything yet. I'm on the way to HL's 2 month appt and have AG with me for them to look at her toe. The nail is almost completely off. I think it is related to the hand foot mouth she had before.
Hi everyone! DD is at daycare for the first time today. So far, everything has gone great. I am actually off today because I had to bring DS to the eye doctor, so I sent DD to daycare so DS and I could have some mom/son time. We found out he needs glasses. He is moderately far sighted, and strabismus runs in our family so they think glasses is the way to go. Anyone have kids in glasses?? I feel like it is going to be a struggle to get him to wear them. I am currently sitting and pumping for the first time since having DD. I totally forgot how much I hate pumping lol. I am surprised with my milk output though. It's a lot more than I expected. DS and DD
Well, Tapa still won't let me upload a photo. 🙄
DS1 slept for a little over an hour, so I got a nice rest in. I'm feeling a little guilty that I wasn't productive during that time though. It's so rare lately for them both to be asleep at the same time. Oh well, even I deserve a break sometimes I suppose.
I shouldn't have said anything about not having cramps yesterday because I sure have them now. 😖
A & L turned 3 months right before Christmas, but I don't think I've posted since then. Today I took all 3 girls to Walmart for groceries. I prefer to keep the babies in the double stroller but then I have to either pull a cart as well or use the stroller basket which really doesn't hold enough. I haven't figured out a very good system yet. Right now DD1 is at gymnastics. She's been practicing her cartwheels like crazy!
adouces06 My son started wearing glasses at 2.5 yo. We never had a problem getting him to wear them. Very quickly he was asking us for his glasses at the breakfast table. He also has a fairly strong prescription so I think he knows he sees better with them.

His he near sighted or far sighted (or something else)? I read that near sighted kids tend to do better with glasses since wearing them makes them see clearer. With far sighted kids, my understanding is it doesn't necessarily affect their vision as much but rather helps them focus better up close and makes the eye muscles stronger. Of course, DS is far sighted, so I'm hoping he doesn't hate them too much.

Farsighted bookworm:)
What you say makes sense. I'm farsighted and never wear my glasses. I manage just fine.
