Happy New Year! Do you make resolutions every NYE or set intentions for the new year? I've never been been big on resolutions but I'm liking the idea of setting an intention for the year. Something I'd like to focus on. We'll see if it sticks or if I actually decide on something. But in any case, just thought I would post something to get this week going.

Well, for me I'm going to try and have more patience with DW. She's so good at communication, and I'm always messing up and losing my temper. So I'm going to work on just keeping it together and not always flying off the handle. Wish me luck!
I haven't gotten that far yet. But I think one thing will be to not be so hard on myself for the rest of this pregnancy. I've been super bummed that I don't have a pretty baby bump and I have the apron belly going on because I used to weigh 220lbs over 10 years ago, and my body has been enjoying taking on that old shape even though I'm not that weight right now. I balled my eyes out the other day when I stood there and really looked at myself in the mirror. Hate it so much, but there is nothing I can do about it. Once the baby arrives, It will likely stay the same about not being so hard on myself, but it won't all have to do with body image, it will include being a new mom and not doing everything 'right'... Lol
I intended to eat better/healthier/cleaner. All of my pants are tight. Sigh. But that lasted a day. Sigh.
I intendedto not be frustrated so much with DW, but she spent the last 2 days sick in bed while I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off. So that lasted 2 days.
I'm good about resolutions for about 4 months and then I forget so I'm giving up on that. But this year I'm committed to spending more quality time with my mom. I want to enjoy every minute I can and try to be more forgiving of her personality quirks. I realize when she's gone I won't regret spending more time with her.
