Hi ladies! Sorry, I've been a little absent. I'm so glad this week is almost over, this has been the most tiring week ever. I'm supposed to go out tonight to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday! I want to go, but I also want to just go home and crash. My plan is to pick up Starbucks in the meantime so I can get the energy to go. The great thing is it starts at 7pm, so I can still get home at a good time. I'm sorry for the long winded self-pep talk. Anyways, here's to the weekend!

Add me to the tired club. I tried to go to bed last night at 9 like an old lady, but my upstairs neighbors were screaming at the top of their lungs for over half hour. I wanted to call security but was scared they'd know it was me. That and my cats were assholes and running around like crazy every single hour all night long. At least it's Friday!
ETA: hope you feel better budders. It seems like lots of our cycles here have lined up lol.
Even though I only worked three days this week it felt like forever. So happy it's Friday. It's too cold to go outside, so I'm spending the day in yoga pants with my kiddo, who luckily, seems to be in a great mood so far. He's amused himself for almost 15 minutes with an empty milk jug. Fingers crossed it's a good sign for the rest of the day, because it would be great to knock out the majority of the cleaning that needs to happen over the weekend today.

Waiting on DD to wake up. We have dance class this morning and maybe a grocery store trip if I can get my butt into meal planning quick enough. Happy Friday!
Happy Friday! Going into work late and hopefully will have a short day. Can't decide if we want to just hang at home or if I should take them somewhere. We'll see how it goes.
Going to the final walk through for MILs house this morning. I'm thinking I'm going to get Starbucks on the way since I have been good this week and haven't used any of my WWs Flex Points!
I have to take my car in sometime today. The light keeps coming on telling me my trunk is open. Not sure if it's a cold weather fluke or a sensor or what. I was hoping to do it this morning but it's super cold out and I don't feel like leaving the house yet. Nothing else is really planned for the day. I need to run into work for a little while but will probably do that late this afternoon since it's dinner at the inlaws night anyways. C is currently eating grapes and watching toy story 2 while I drink my coffee sitting in front of the fireplace. (The best seat in the house!)
Forgot to give an update after swimming yesterday. C hated it. He cried for about 90% of the lesson. But I signed him up for the rest of January and all of February. (Starting to wish I just paid in advance up until his 2nd birthday, but I'll do that in the middle of February.) The facility was really nice. It's a salt water pool, temp runs at a min of 89*. Hopefully after one more lesson C will be comfortable and not scream the whole time.
Morning. We're meeting up with my sister and her son at a trampoline park for tot time. First time for E; I'm excited to see if he will like it. Just put chili in the crockpot for dinner which is fitting considering it's a high of 7 today. Stay warm ladies!

Morning all! I woke up to find B with an explosive diaper... a daily occurence since returning home from Mexico. A also had an accident yesterday. They were fine the entire trip, so I don't know why now. Either way, we are sticking close to home because I have no desire to deal with that in public.
sabrinaml C hated swim lessons too. he just kept saying "no" quietly in this really sad voice and shaking his head. I did a lesson with him and didn't have the heart for it, then H did a lesson with him and felt the same way. When I factored in what a nightmare it was to get there, get him dressed, get me dressed, etc., and how darn cold it is in the winter I just decided it isn't worth it right now and forfeited the money we paid for the lessons.
He doesn't mind the water and going in the pool at my MILs in the summer, so I think we are just going to stick with that for now. I hope your C warms up to it soon! I talked to another parent in the class who said his kid's reaction was the same as mine but they stuck with it and after time he loved it.
One of the moms in the class has a daughter who is just a week or 2 younger than C. She said her daughter cried the whole 1st (or first few) lesson(s) as well (they started in the fall) but eventually started to really like it. I'm really wishing I would have started them when he was younger though. He might not of had the same reaction then.
We are home and slept in our own beds as of about 11pm last night! DS is still passed out and DD woke up at 9. I should be unpacking, or doing something..but I'm just not ready for that. Luckily I did laundry before we left the condo a couple nights ago so I don't have much to catch up on, mostly just have to unpack our bags!!
Back to winter! Both sad and happy, cuz it's good to be home but it was reallly good to be there too. We all had a blast.
I'm already working on my Maui packing list...seems quite early but I want to know what we all need to buy for it. Already found 3 things we need to buy before we go (new runners for ds1, one set of headphones for the plane and a swim guard thingy for ds1's bathing suits). My planner/list lover self is happy to finally be at this point haha
I can't wait for you to go now!!! I have experience now and know what we're talking about lol!
Can I confess here that I did not like our roomba. DHs sister gave us hers when she moved. We used it for a while but it never did a good job. I just sold it on a Facebook garage sale page.

We have a developmental therapist coming tomorrow at noon to work with J. I'm still waiting on our paperwork from the evaluations to arrive. They sent it on the 29th so hopefully it will be soon.
Hey guys, it's been a busy day at work today. But I did make an eye appointment to see about my different sized pupils. I will be interested to see how my vision is. I think the last time I had it checked I was in elementary school or something like that.

C is currently stashed away in her teepee from Christmas reading books and snuggling with her blanket quietly. She might look just like MH, but she's totally my kid;)
