After a good night Wednesday night, we were back to a zillion long wake ups last night, so I'm dragging today. Sooo glad its Friday. Looking forward to a super productive weekend! My neighbor (who is a super crunchy momma) is going to help me make some baby food, finally going to pack away the maternity clothes (::cough:: the stuff I'm not still wearing ::cough:, and get baby girl's 9 month clothes washed and put away!

I am just hoping to catch up around the house this weekend. I have had a fever ect since tuesday evening so naturally the house is a disaster but also the christmas decorations need taken down...i should be getting some 6-9 month clothes out and organized too... we shall see how much gets done I am always super optimistic about what I can accomplish on weekends then I never quite get to it all.
I am hoping I can just stay healthy I need a break from getting a new illness every week.
I need to take R's 5 month picture. She'll be 6 months in nine days. Ugh.
I also need to fill out her baby book for like the last 3-4 months. Ugh. I think my texts to DH and posts on here will help. I was a 2nd child and my baby book is completely blank except for my name, while my older brother's had so much in it that my mom added extra pages. It really bugged me as a kid and I don't want to do the same. I have a family Christmas memory book too and I did get that filled out, so yay for that.
Nothing really going on, it's stupid cold. It was snowy yesterday so both kids and I were home all day and I was losing my mind by dinner time. R has exited the content baby phase and is now mad about everything. DD1 demanded attention every moment. Sigh.

ginabini I am wearing a maternity tank as we speak. It's comfy!
jewelsofthenile I'm glad you are feeling better! I hope you stay healthy too.
katelou when I did DS1's baby book I wanted to do everything, but realized I should dial it back because I wanted a second kid and would have to do the same thing for him. Right now DS1's book is unfinished, and L's is non-existent!
AFM, it's -14c here but I'm thinking about bundling everyone up to walk to the post office because 1) we could use the fresh air 2) I have an Amazon package waiting for me, and 3) it will give me about 2000 Fitbit steps!

It's a snow day here. There is about 3 inches of accumulation out there with none of the roads or highways plowed.
My boss is basically letting me WFH when I can so basically just when S is napping. I am so lucky to have a boss and job that allows this. As a result I won't have to use as much PTO time.
Welp, I have mastitis (picking up antibiotics for it this morning) and we're supposed to get 1-3" of snow tomorrow evening which means our date night to celebrate my birthday will most likely be postponed Daaaamn it snow!
Ugh. So I just got the benefit enrollment information at my new job. Apparently when I was looking over everything before I accepted I didn't realize that short term disability was not covered by the employer. If I want it I have to pay the premium.. and of course STD is what maternity leave would be covered under. (Not that I plan on going out on leave again anytime soon, knock on wood, but still.) I absolutely love my job here so far, but I took a pretty substantial pay cut to come here and now I find out that I'm going to have an additional $1,400 in annual expense. Since I'm the primary earner in our family, not having some kind of short term disability coverage is not an option; whether its for maternity leave or just in general. Sooo yeah. That sucks. Have I mentioned lately that I hate the maternity leave situation in our country? grumble.
Today is one of those days where I just don't want to be a mom. Sleep last night was horrible. DS1 had multiple throw himself on the floor and scream tantrums this morning. At one point, all 3 of us were crying. E had another explosive poop at the Y and cried most of the time in childcare while DS1 and I were swimming. I just put them both down for a nap. Praying to the nap gods that I don't hear from them for a while.
TGIF. I'm handing them off to my husband when he gets home from work and going running (maybe running away).
But I just woke up from a nap in an amazing hotel king size bed am watching SS1 play hockey, and about to crush fiddles at Mandarin in about an hour. Life is good.

I had to get out so we went to the mall. I was afraid it would be a disaster but it was actually great. My best friend had the day off and met us. We ate Panda Express. The nursing rooms were so fancy with a couch outside playing Disney Junior. DD was in heaven! The only bad thing. I broke my resolution of no new clothes. I couldn't help it. The clearance dress was $9. I'm not even mad at myself. It was a great day to break the cabin fever.

Ray i remember 2 winters ago i saw negetive 29 on my car thermometer on my way to work. It was cooold and my poor heater could barely keep car warm. Not sure how the county of Canada survives all winter long. 😀
