Florida Meet Up?!

Ok ladies. I know some of you are coming to Florida in March. The Tampa area if I remember right. I looked at the calendar and Mr. P's Spring Break is March 11th - 19th. I am going to talk to him about maybe going to Tampa to take the girls to the Aquarium. It would also serve as a time to meet up with anyone who is in FL. I have to run it by him and see what he says. It will also depend on what we get back from our tax refund after I pay down some credit cards. 

Would anyone be interested in a Florida Meet Up??

How fun! My IL live outside of Tampa, that aquarium is really neat.

I will be there March 11-13 but probably my only real free time will be the evening of the 11th or 12th. I fly back home around noon on the 13th so that day is pretty much a no-go. I won't have my O16 baby with me but I will have DS1 who is almost 6.

We're planning on being in Tampa for a conference that runs March 10-12. If we come just for the conference, we'd fly in Thursday the 9th and leave Sunday the 12th. We may tack on an extra day for funsies, but it would be that Wednesday the 8th, not at the end. *Because H is on call Monday/Tuesday the 13th/14th and can't take vacation over his call days.

My free time would be while H in in conference, so the 10th and 11th.

This will be a kids free weekend for us.

penguin129 I just thought of this today. What's the weather like in Tampa at that time of year?

We went to Orlando in January of 2013...it was colder than I expected, but that was also one of the coldest winters in awhile (remember the "polar vortex") so I think that's why. It was legit, not windchill, -16* here at home while we were there.

I went on spring break there a couple times in college and during the day it was low 80s and at night maybe low to mid 60s. Beautiful weather!
