Morning. Also pregnant. Going to take DS to daycare now and then I have an OB appointment. Someone's coming by later to give us an estimate on replacing the upstairs carpeting. Pretty exciting Monday.
Pregnant as well! Just picked up Indiana and ran across the house because she started heaving. I made it to the kitchen for the first go and then got her on the deck for the rest. Mh was all wtf and dying because it was hysterical to see a largely pregnant lady running around with a 30 pound dog. Hello, I'm not cleaning up dog puke off my newly cleaned carpet! Give me the kitchen tiles any day.
Ds and I will hit up circle time and then wing it from there.
pibblemom by the end my walks were short, no more than half a mile most days but I really think it still helped!
I'm still pregnant as well. But I've had some nesting outbursts the last couple of days and we are home for a snow day so more stuff will get done today. I slept with a normal amount of pillows in bed last night and no reflux issues, so I think little man has dropped.
Hi still preggo too. DS is in nursery after 2 weeks off and I think he was as glad as I was to go back. He was missing his friends. I still have a horrendous cold and have mega snot going on.
Holy nursing appetite batman! DH has been home with DD and my Monday confession is that I've been ordering room service for 2 and eating both dishes because I'm famished.
Get it ellabee! My hospital food was pretty decent last time, I hope yours is too!
I'm pregnancy raging to the max right now. We still don't have insurance information. HR emailed out an emergency 800 number this weekend. I'm nervous about going into labor without our info, do not need that headache on top of labor/newborn. Mh works for a good sized company, it's my understanding that the broker for the new insurance company botched things up. One would think they would have made this a priority.
TMI that has me thinking about insurance: I've pooped a lot this morning and feel a bit nauseous. Could be early labor signs. Could be nothing. Could be that awful bug that's going around.
ellabee, I'm not sure if I can't wait to be able to gorge myself and feel like I accomplished something or if I'm dreading it. The forced portion control of having an intruder inside is both wonderful and annoying.
lakegirl, my walks aren't even that long, they're just around our yard (1 acre) but at least it forces me to not be a total lazy bum. Also, i do the exact same thing when one of my animals starts heaving. My one cat actually starts howling first and it's very noticeable so I'm usually able to get a paper towel under him.
heybulldog56, hopefully the estimate is reasonable. Is this a right now project or after baby?
I am just going to finally start working on the finishing touches on my work project.
After that I may head to BRU to pick up the last of the things we need before she comes. We got a lot of great stuff yesterday, but it was a LOT of clothes. We have so many 0-3 month that i hope she stays a peanut til at least 3 months so we can use them, but I have a feeling half the clothes we have now won't get used. I was shocked that one of Hs distant cousins actually got us the Halo Swivel Bassinet. I didn't think anyone other than maybe grandma would buy it because it was so expensive. I put it on the registry just to see, so I'm super stoked to have it!

Morning everyone!
W was up cluster feeding most of the night again. However, his best sleep time as far as night hours go seems to be 4am-7:30am or 8am. One of my nips is injured and bleeding a little. Never dealt with that with DS1 so I'm a little...ticked lol Luckily, I think I've fixed the problem causing it.
And bonus? W seems to understand the difference between a pacifier and the boob. He'll reject the paci if he's hungry but he'll take it if he needs to comfort suck or just wants to suck on something in general. It's been a sanity saver already as far as giving my sore nips a break.
DS1 came running into my room this mourning and not even to see me! He just wanted to see W and hold him.
I stand corrected. I came upstairs because DS decided to and he was in the closet cleaning out stuff.
And we cleaned out the box that was in our bathroom and we found the used pregnancy tests from when we found out with this one. The military movers packed those. Eww.

Aww that is so sweet thelittleredm! pibblemom, the plan was to replace carpets before baby but obviously that didn't happen. We don't have a real timeline as of yet, just want to get an idea for cost and go from there. ellabee, enjoy the food! That sounds delightful. I hope my hospital has decent food because I'm looking forward to eating in bed while watching tv and snuggling my baby.
lakegirl wtf, I hope HR gets their shit together soon!
pibblemom glad to hear your shower went well. Can you return things like outfits you think she's unlikely to wear? I literally only pulled out sleepers and like 1-2 actual outfits. And awesome on the bassinet!
ellabee eat all the food! I am kind of looking forward to the "food is awesome" phase.
thelittleredm woohoo for knowing the difference between food and not food. I am 100% team pacifier.
Not much going on here. I feel like I'm sick and all I want to do is poop. Intermittent contractions. Blah. Trying to bust through my to-do list at work.

E has been good for me this morning sleeping and letting me pump in peace. I'm hoping I have some energy to do some cleaning today the house is a mess. Mostly just clutter I need to put away and organize. IL are coming over Wednesday. I need to run to the grocery store but it is so cold today that will probably wait until tomorrow.

Hi! Still pregnant, but I'm okay with that! Tomorrow, I'll be the most pregnant I've ever been.
House is getting painted this week (we're brilliant planners, really...). So we're dealing with the daycare shuttle and work from home shuffle. Which bugs me because I won't get to go to the gym, and that is my "me" time. What if I don't get to go back anymore before the baby comes? I'll be so sad I might try to squeeze in late-night yoga tomorrow.
So, I got to work at 9:30, and in the past hour, I ate ALL of the food I brought for today... greek yogurt with bluberries, a banana, a turkey sandwich with banana peppers, and a huge container of cantaloupe, strawberries and blackberries. I hope I can find a dollar in my wallet to hit up the snack machine in a bit, because I'm still hungry!

Still pregnant. Having a playdate here in a few minutes with my friend and her daughter. She's our emergency DS sitter but hasn't been to our house before so I want her to know where things are just in case.
I have the stupid required class for my tubal at 3:30 and after that I'm going to the last knitting group for a while. Hoping I can sneak a nap in after lunch
It's a rainy Monday morning here so rather than get up, ready and go out as planned I'm still sitting in my pjs making phone calls and sending emails that are overdue while LO naps and my mom does laundry. I should really be showering...
thelittleredm, I've always been worried about introducing a paci early, just because the LCs are so anti, but I have been considering it in case it could reduce duration of nursing and give my nips some rest. With DS1 i didnt use a paci (he wouldnt take one from me) but when i went back to work and DH was off with him he eventually took one as a non-boob option to soothe for naps.
Any tips on introducing and avoiding issues or is it a case of just try and see?

bazinga, DS never took a paci so this is all new to me. W tries sucking his hands all the time but never seems to be able to keep them in his mouth and he gets upset which is why we decided to try a paci. We only give it to him after he's been fed and is no longer rooting around for boob and if he starts rooting, we won't give him it. He's gotten to where he spits it out if he's looking for boob which is great.
@orangcrush, I LOVE wegmans... I wish there was one closer. We used to be able to walk to one, but since we bought our house, the closest is 45 mins away. I still go, but its more like once a month instead of weekly. Best grocery store ever.

W sounds like H with the hand sucking. Adding a paci to my shopping list... Thx
@orangcrush and pibblemom yessss to the Wegmans love! I lived right next to one back in the day because it was original Wegmans territory. I stopped almost everyday after work. I'm glad they're expanding but I wish one was in my current neighborhood, it's probably 30 minutes for me if traffic cooperates. Spoiler: it never does. I have a gift card from Christmas I need to use. Time to go make a list and plan a trip!
