Ds is a tad clingy today because his nap was short. Evidently he's playing how many times can you elbow the baby. Oof. Now my belly hurts.
I am loving this age though, it's so cute when they get something. He likes to help with baking. We just made some pudding. He was so serious when he wiped down the baking station, the sign of a good cook!

I miss Wegmans so much. And real east coast proper deli counters. And real bagels. And Friday fish fries. Basically everything I miss about Rochester is people and food
Playdate went well overall until they both started getting overwhelmed and not playing nice. DS is not used to sharing toys and her daughter is more assertive. Long story short, DS got chomped, got an apology and playdate was over. Now he's super tired so hopefully he naps well.
Love tit for the NY love, not the chomping silvermelody. Group play is so hard with toddlers because they don't truly get sharing or turns or keeping things out of their mouth. Sighs.

We just gave E a bath went to put her in one of her sleepers and it looked way too small. So we didn't attempt to squeeze her in it. Ahhhh she is starting not to fit into preemie clothes anymore. I keep stalking my photographers fb page and my email for any preview of some photos.
Hey all! Mixed bag over here today. A is jaundiced and has lost too much weight, so we are upping her supplementation and we may have to go back and be readmitted for phototherapy (I keep wanting to joke that we're going in so she can learn photosynthesis). Same thing happened with DD, so I'm prepared, but not psyched about it. We should get her bloodwork results back sometime tonight or tomorrow am, though. So either I'll spend the wee hours in the hospital, or I'll just have a weight check tomorrow at the pedi.
On the plus side, DD seems to be doing really well, and is super cute with A. My milk came in today, too, which is good (though kinda uncomfortable for now - I've resigned myself to the pump in addition to A's nursing).
So, hanging in there, getting lots of baby snuggles, and hoping for the best!
Fingers crossed her numbers come back ok and you can avoid the hospital. Would your pedi allow you to do the light treatment at home? I know someone who got a script and got the lights from a medical supply company and did the phototherapy at home. I'm not sure how common that is though....
I was SUPPOSED to have an NST tomorrow morning but morning appointments have been cancelled because the roads will still be thawing. I plan on going up there or calling right at 1 pm when they open to find it what to do about my NST.

Today has been busy busy busy. We went to Costco to get a few things and grabbed lunch there before going to my work to get the oil changed in my car. After that, it was a trip to BRU for a few remaining items we didn't have. I'm exhausted, my back is killing me, and I'm happy to be home nursing W, even if it is the side with the super hurting nip.
My milk is coming in and there was a newborn crying at BRU. So glad I didn't spring a leak, but it still hurt.

@orangecrush, heybulldog56, Lol Honestly, the car thing was the only thing I wanted done but the other two places are close enough to work that I decided I'd rather just get it all out of the way today so that I have no need to go out again.

Gross AW but look at the blonde hair on this baby! F and I are doing well. My bf just went to pick up DS and spend the night at home with him. Must avoid all possible grandparent hangover. He adored seeing F but asked to go to grandpa's house. It wasn't in the plan but that's okay. Whatever makes him the most comfortable. Now he'd like to go home apparently.
F and I are planning a hot date to watch The Bachelor tonight!
How are you doing with things? I'm scared to go home tomorrow and have 2 kids!!
It's going pretty well, really. DS is really gentle and obsessed with W which is great and has handled the adjustment well. He still doesn't listen very well but I think it isn't as bad as before W was born.
You know what I'm not loving? The cramping. It's almost as bad as the (early) contractions
+1 I actually rated it worse than contractions. Not the pain level, but it was so much more annoying. At least I'd get a break every minute or so with contractions and it wasn't constant for 20+ minutes -.-

Warning: bitchy rant post ahead
So after announcing the birth of my son, without our permission, my mil is now sharing the pictures I posted. But only the ones of D and Finley, or R and Finley. None with me in them. After admitting that with R it "never occurred to her" to take a single picture that included me, until her friend asked her about me.
So clearly I will now stop posting pictures on face book.
Except the one of us and my parents at the hospital
MissDemeanor , I get that she's probably an excited grandma (i hope thats her excuse), but seriously, she needs to give mama a chance to breathe and tell her own family so they dont find out on FB.
