Dunkin donuts fucked up my coffee royally. I'm tired and congested and had to switch to a longer a belt because I've got a serious case of first tri bloat like nobody's business. I can't do today. Just want to be in my bed, please.
My toddler was a perfect angel this morning. Got dressed, ate his breakfast, brushed his teeth, and got in the car with no pushback, no attitude, no whining. Thank the lord for small victories.

My toddler slept until right before I left so I could kiss him good bye. And then I treated myself to a TacoBell crunchwrap. I'm winning on this Monday morning!

I have 2 "office days" this week, today and Friday, the other days I'm traveling...and I am super procrastinating some super important tasks I need to be working on (cold calling some of our clients that no one has email addresses for)...
Also, one of my BFFs and I are taking advantage that our other BFF is out of town this week and going out to lunch at a new Chinese buffet today since our other friend hates Chinese/anything that isn't American.
And plus also, I made a super lame/motivational play list this morning on spotify, right now Wilson Phillips is singing Hold On to me

Love this! We used to listen to this in the locker room before basketball games. Good memories right there! I think I need chinese food this week too. Enjoy!

I love my husband, but I love Monday when he goes back to work and I can spend my evening alone watching Netflix and eating from my secret chip stash after my daughter goes to bed. No shame.
It's snowing today, which seems to be a Monday thing for the past month. I may actually take the kids out to play in the snow this afternoon. They haven't gotten to play in the snow the whole winter so far. It's been so cold, but today is actually above 0, so I might try it today.
I was supposed to meet up with a couple moms to walk at the mall, then let the kids play in the play area there. I'm too cold and tired to leave the house though and am counting down the minutes until DS takes a nap (so I can take one too).

Snow day for me. DS is napping and I'm obsessing way too hard over what my weekly bump pictures will look like.
GAH! I do this already. I show super early...like 10 weeks or so typically. So I love looking at my old pics as well as looking on google and instagram (just search the hashtags)...

At least you've got a while till there is any bump to speak of! Are these for Facebook, or a blog, or just for HDBD on tcf?
I popped at 13 weeks with my first. I started taking my week photos at 5 weeks though. I got one of those shirts that counted down the 40 weeks so I took one every week while I checked them off.
I decided to take your guys advice on the 5k. I started exercising today. I'm going to start slow and did 10 minutes of low intensity exercise. Friends brought it up today again. I was vague and said that I was going to do some videos but wait to start training for the actual 5k until it gets nice outside. That should buy me a few months time.

Awesome! It is definitely harder in the winter. Kudos to you for getting started. We are always here for motivation too.

Yay!!! I'll be your virtual training buddy when you're ready. I have a half marathon in March I'll be starting training for this week.
So my 2.5 year old has only napped one day out of the past 4 days. I think she is dropping naps. She is OK mood wise until 5 pm and then it is a constant crying over everything fest. Sigh. DH is bathing her now and then she is going to bed. I'm not ready for her to stop napping!!!!

That's impressive! I'm only going to walk the 5k so by training I mean walk more.

Would she go for a quiet time? Where she doesn't have to sleep but she has to play in her room for a little while so you can get a break.

Yeah that's what I do with ds. She's still in a crib. She basically just chatters to herself and looks at books.

Take note, future pregnant self: enjoy weeks 4, 5, and 6. Don't wish for reassuring symptoms. Because approximately halfway through week 6 is when you will start to feel like total shit and will begin to dream of going into a sweet, nausea-free coma for the next 2 months.

I remember my mom doing this with my brother. He stopped napping before he was 2, so she started putting the Lion King on every afternoon and he would sit there and watch it while she rested. Needs must. I can still sing all the Lion King songs off by heart. I could probably recite most of the script too.

I just gorged myself on Taco Bell and now want to barf (after feeling good all day). I even got up and made dd and myself yummy/healthy oatmeal cups and protein shakes. Now I want to crawl under my desk and sleep. Tomorrow I have meetings all day at my actual office, so I'll have to be up and dressed by 7am (which I am not used to anymore since I work from home)...DD has been a shit in the mornings and is so damn pokey.
I am getting SOOOO nervous/excited for my appointment Thursday. I know we will see a heartbeat and baby will look more like baby this week, I'm still so nervous.
I started taking my bp yesterday since I hadn't checked it in a while. I thought I would be out of the woods in regards to pre-e since I haven't been on BP meds since dd...well it's already creeping up. Steady in the 130s, but luckily the bottom number is in the 60s.

That's so funny! Yeah, my son dropped naps at 2.5 so I shouldn't be surprised DD is right now. I give DS a tablet and he is supposed to stay in his room.
