It's about time that I move on over here. We were team green and became team blue when I delivered our rainbow baby on 2/4 after a challenging induction, but relatively easy pregnancy. We had a couple of scary moments that were awful for PGAL brain, but we are both doing very well now. We're struggling a bit with breastfeeding and getting a proper latch. Sore nipples do eventually get better, right?
I think I know many of you here from TTCAL/ PGAL, but here's a brief history. MH and I started TTC in March 2011 and I got my first BFP in August 2012, which ended up as a blighted ovum. Then, I had another first trimester loss in February 2013. We started testing and some fertility treatments with a RE, but never got a definitive diagnosis other than "bad luck."

Precious baby! Congrats! Sore nipples get better if the latch is correct. If they don't start to heal you may want to talk to a LC to make sure he's latching correctly. Breastfeeding gets easier!! Hang in there
Congrats! He's adorable! And yes, the sore nipples will get better. The first few weeks are the hardest, but it will get better and easier. Lanolin is great for sore, chapped nipples.

Hello!! Welcome and congrats on your LO!! It took my nips 6 weeks to heal. I had one that had a crack on it so large that I nicknamed the crack "The Grand Canyon"! I'm so glad the I fought through cause things did get better and it's definitely worth it!! Good luck!
