Oh you used the cones instead of the yellow and circle piece?
Yes - even just feeling them, you can tell they're sturdier. The suction difference was incredible.
I have some of these left over from my ameda pump. That's what it used. But I felt like half of them came not working at all. But I'll try the brand you suggested.

Babe has been sleeping since about 2:30. I don't have the heart to wake him. I'm wondering if he's coming down with something because this kind of napping is unheard of in these parts.
I was kinda trying to position my lesson plans so that I could call in sick on Friday for a mental-health day. I was planning to just say Bub was sick to stay home. Well, guess who is actually sick now?
They must have taken his temperature in his ear and told him he has a fever. Now he's saying there's a beaver in his ear. It's kind of hilarious.

Hi all! Barely a moment in the middle of the days lately. Been trying to keep up. Having both kids sick at the same time was not fun. Thankfully it wasn't the same kind of sickness.

I'm so not looking forward to daycare sickness with #2. DS was so so sick for like 18 months and then from 18-2.5 he's had one fever, hfm,a few ear infections with tubes, and allergies. His last ear infection was in January 2016. I'm knocking on all the wood but I just remember my sister saying I needed to have him tested for immune diseases because of how sick he was and now he's very healthy. Weird.

Maybe you'll have a better time with #2. Bub had a fever really young (like not even 3 months) which was bad, but after that, illnesses have been few and far between. Maybe we just got lucky. But just comparing all the kids on this board, I think it's a toss up, and I'm not convinced DC makes much difference. At least not when it comes to major illnesses. The constant runny nose from Nov-March is probably a daycare thing.
