Since I love seeing stats, where are these babies at?
Weight (percentile): Height (percentile): Head (percentile): Immunizations: This month baby especially likes: This month baby dislikes: Questions/Concerns/AWs:
We don't have a check-up until 4 months, but I weighed him at home.
17 lbs. Size 9 month clothing Moving out of size 2 diapers into size 3 Likes: Eating, Bath time, cuddling, watching his big sister Dislike: hats over his eyes, sitting in poop, waiting to eat No concern just comparing (which I know I shouldn't do) - he's 13 weeks old and hasn't rolled over yet. His big sister rolled over at 11 weeks old. I just need to remember that he's a lot chunkier so perhaps he's struggling a bit. lol.

Weight (percentile): 12 lbs 11 oz (18%) Height (percentile): 25 inches (90's % forget the exact number) Head (percentile): 41cm/16.1 inches (60%) Immunizations: none this month This month baby especially likes: his sister, his play mat, jolly jumper, standing, making faces, bath time This month baby dislikes: being away from mom, sleeping on his own, his car seat Questions/Concerns/AWs: he's dropping weight percentiles and even though my doctor isn't concerned (DD is tiny as well, I think I just make small babies) I'm getting concerned my milk supply isn't adequate. He still eats every 1.5-2 hrs around the clock.
ETA: just about to outgrow size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes
Post by ksyknelvr73 on Jan 11, 2017 15:37:15 GMT -5
No rolling over here and DD is 12.5 weeks old. I don't remember my boys doing it until closer to 4 months old.
I'll have to weigh her on my own since we don't have a 3 month check up. I'm guessing she's somewhere around 15-16 lbs? She is in 3 month clothes still with sleepers getting tight but onesies/pants still seem to fit fine. Size 2 diapers.
She likes her brothers, being held, her kick n play piano mat.
She dislikes bath time, having a bottle right when she wakes up for the day (it's so odd, she flat out refuses for a solid 15 min even after sleeping 10.5 hours straight), and her car seat.

Also no doc appt until 4 months here, so I'm guesstimating.
M is probably between 15-16lbs, and in 6mo clothes as of two weeks ago. He loves talking, especially at 3am in the morning, and likes his playmat, napping on people, and his plushie elephant. Starting to get into swimming with his Otteroo as well. He hates getting out of the bath (it's cold!), stopping in the car, and most of all, the dreaded tummy time.
Questions/Concerns/AWs: This kid seriously hates tummy time. He use to scream murder and now mostly gives up after a few moments of screaming and just naps on his tummy instead. Worried about how to get him into it. Getting on the ground, using toys and videos just doesn't adequately distract or interest him in the least.
DS's next (4 month) appointment is on January 27th.
When I took him to urgent care on New Year's Eve, he was just under 16 lbs. He's wearing 3-6 month separates, but 6-9 month footies, and wears size 2 diapers. (However, I put size 3 overnight diapers on him at night.)
macaronmama - DS is the same exact way with tummy time. He's fine if you sit on the floor and prop him up on your leg, though, which counts as tummy time (with regard to strengthening neck muscles). I would like him to get used to being on him tummy on flat surfaces, though, because he's been pretty close to rolling on his belly and when he does, he's gonna be pissed.
He loves his activity mat, likes his swing now, loves grabbing at things and shoving everything in his mouth, loves sitting upright, loves laughing and talking and smiling. He seems to like sitting in the exersaucer, but he's still so wobbly that even if I shove a blanket in there to keep him upright, he's not very steady and he won't pull his arms out to reach for anything.

For those with some tummy time issues, I bought the Fisher Price sit me up floor seat and it offers a little more support than an exersaucer but still forces them to use their back and neck muscles to support themselves. Might be worth looking into! They run about $35-40.
No appointment til 4 months here either so these are home measurements Weight (percentile): 12 lbs 3 oz (33) Height (percentile): 25 in (96) This month baby especially likes: baths, smiling, talking, eating This month baby dislikes: sleeping, tummy time, not being held Questions/Concerns/AWs: hikingmama222 DS fell percentiles too and now is around the 20th. DD is trending downward also. I just have long skinny kids I guess.
DS2 is 3 months old today (1/14)!! We don't have a well baby check until 4 months, so no stats today.
I put him on the scale with me this morning and it appears he's about 14lbs. He's well out of 3 month footie pajamas and 0-3/3 month onsies and into 3-6/6 months. He can still get away with 3 month pants (he's got a long torso like dad and big brother). Size 2 diapers, but if I didn't just buy a huge box of them I'd put him in size 3s. His little thighs are so chunky and roll-y.
He loves his swing/bouncy seat. Seriously he would be content to spend all his time in it, just looking around. He enjoys his play mat for short periods. He pays more attention to big brother and is smiling at him all the time. He's not a fan of being held for the most part, but prefers to be facing outward when he is. BATHS.
He's not a fan of GERD (still, but mostly under control now), being tired or hungry, tummy time. He tolerates his car seat at best. Much to his brother's dismay, he hates being put in his snowsuit, so trips outside are limited.
Questions/Concerns/AWs: He started in daycare this past week. Here's to hoping he stays healthy for at least a little bit. 2 kids in his class were diagnosed with RSV last week. He rolled over from tummy to back 5 times in a row a week or so ago, but hasn't done it since. He has no effs to give about being on a schedule, which I know is normal, but so frustrating. Some nights we get a fantastic full night of sleep and then sometimes we're up at 12:30 and 3. Le sigh.

G is 3 months old today! No 3 month appointment, but he had his 10 week last week at almost 12 weeks. These numbers are from that appointment.
Weight (percentile): 13lbs 4oz Height (percentile): 24.5 inches. Still in 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. I imagine I'll be switching some stuff to 6 month soon though. Head (percentile): 39cm Immunizations: Hib and rotavirus This month baby especially likes: his playmat, big brother, chatting with the baby in the mirror, being told he is a good boy and a big boy This month baby dislikes: waiting to eat, getting in his car seat (he's fine once we're moving), having a wet diaper, letting mommy eat meals Questions/Concerns/AWs: he's shown no interest in rolling yet. N was 4 months before he started rolling. He starts daycare this week, and I'm hoping he doesn't get sick right away. He loves standing in our laps. I'm waiting for him to get a little more head control so we can bring up the jumperoo for him.
Today at nap when I went in to get him, he was on his side with both hands touching the crib rail, so I would assume he can now roll back to belly. He also rolled a few times belly to back but hasn't been interested. I've read a lot of babies master a skill and then are bored with it so don't bother anymore. I'm also not worried but I was quite surprised today. I guess I'll have to stop using the blanket in the crib- I was putting one waste down on him.
No well check here either, so not sure on stats. He weighs maybe 15 lbs. In size 2 diapers and just starting to move to 6 month clothing.
Baby likes: talking, smiling, laughing, tummy time, his play mat or just lying in the floor, rolling tummy to back, and trying to finish back to tummy. Also loves milk, attention, sitting up when held, and watching everything his brother does.
Dislikes: sleeping through the night/not sleeping in a swaddle, waiting for food, falling asleep for some naps, not getting enough attention.
Concerns: I will say I am nervous that he's not growing as much as his brother did, but I know he's going through a ridiculous amount of milk at daycare.
No appointment until 4 months. He was 85th for height and weight, 99th for head circumference at 2 months. He's starting to get big for the 6 month clothes. This month baby especially likes: Talking, smiling, giggling. This month baby dislikes: Being left alone without being able to see/talk to someone Questions/Concerns/AWs: He's huge. My other two were average/small so it's so weird. I know he'll slow down soon... I'm not enjoying buying a new wardrobe every month anymore. It was fun the first two times, now it's getting expensive. I never realized how much money we saved getting hand-me-downs for the girls. I figured we'd get some for this kid because I have two cousins who have boys but nada!
I don't know what second hand costs, but each season Kohls (do you have that there?) puts their jumping beans brand on sale $4 for each shirt and pants in kids sizes. They wash well and I use them more than any other brand. I also buy the carters basics that have like 4 long sleeve onesies for like $12-15 on sale, and usually the pants come in a two or three pack. I tend to buy only a few of these each size then some nice outfits for when we're going somewhere and I wash a lot.
Weight (percentile): ?? Height (percentile): ?? I think she had a growth spurt because she suddenly seems SO long. Head (percentile): Big head fo sho Immunizations: she is due for a bunch at her 4m check up This month baby especially likes: kisses from her big brother, the windi, chewing her hands, holding onto toys, laying on fuzzy blankets on the floor, nursing before bed to fall asleep, her car seat and car rides This month baby dislikes: gas, being in the RNP when she has gas, cold formula, when mama has a dip in her supply Questions/Concerns/AWs: I got nothing, so I leave you with a picture.

Yes ditto on Jumping Beans. They have some cute stuff and it is SO cheap.
Weight (percentile): 15 lb 7 oz (87%) Height (percentile): 25.5" (92%) Head (percentile): (43%) Immunizations: 2 shots - Hep B and Polio? This month baby especially likes: Mobiles. Sitting propped up and watching people, particularly his big brother. Baths with Mommy This month baby dislikes: Tummy time. People trying to give him bottles if he's not hungry.
Questions/Concerns/AWs: We mostly cloth diaper, so that throws off clothing sizes. He's been in 9 month onesies for a few weeks and is just barely fitting in most 6 month footed pjs. DS1 wasn't a small baby, but DS2 is running at least 6 weeks ahead of him in size for age. I feel like DS2 is outgrowing clothes faster than I can fish out hand-me-downs, wash them, and get them into the rotation.

Weight: 13.4lb 66% Height: ? No apt until 4 months Head: ? No immunizations until 4 months.
This month baby likes: trying to watch tv, watching her sister be silly, naps while latched on
This month baby dislikes: napping when she doesn't have a boob in her mouth, sleeping in long stretches at night, any attempts by mommy to kon mari instead of paying her attention
Questions/concerns/AWs: still working on fixing her flat spot. It is much much better since ditching the rock n play. I'm hopeful it will resolve without any big interventions.
