heybulldog56, Do it. I did. Our hospital room was uncomfortably warm/hot so I hung out at least topless with one of the gowns around my lower half and I was much more comfortable.

Really? I had about 27 blankets on me at all times
Well, I'm all hooked up. Not allowed to leave bed because water has broken. CTX every 2ish mins, can jusssst feel them, but not painful. 2cm dilated. Can get epi at 3cm. Will consider pitocin if no progress by 5 am.

Will pray to my new found epi gods that 3 cm comes soon Good luck. Are you allowed to eat? I was allowed to eat until my epidural

My mw came by today. The good news is that he's already back up to his birth weight. The not great news is that he's looking a bit yellow and she's concerned about jaundice. He's eating and pooping/peeing which is good. But hes also very hard to wake up to feed which isn't good.
Basically I need to keep a close eye on things and call if needed. And they want to see him on Monday

I would have died if I had that many. I usually kept an extra one across my feet because clamy feet are awful but even that made me a gross sweaty mess if I slept. I don't remember my room being so warm with DS1...maybe it's because he was a summer baby so the heat wasn't on as often? No idea.

I know today is Friday, but one last Thursday thought. I really hope I have control over the thermostat in my hospital room, kind of like a hotel room. I've been having horrible night sweats for about 2 weeks. I sleep with all the windows open and the fan going. I think I'd die if I was in a hot, stuffy room. Ugh, I hate hospitals.

I had control of mine but it was always running, the vent never shut off. So I was either always cold, or always hot.
