@loves2shops4shoes if your baby isn't meeting the kick count requirements it warrants a call. Yes, baby movement slows down at the end--but it is more critical than ever to pay attention to drastic changes in their movement.
My parents are here, so just hanging out this weekend. My dads doing a few things around the house and we are deep cleaning tomorrow. Probably the last time before baby comes that I really really clean the entire house.

We're on our way home from a trip to finally meet our new neice. I'm so glad I got some cuddle time in with her. Of course, she's just perfect. Sorry for not tagging, but I read everyone's updates. I woke up at about 3:30 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep so I'm exhausted and trying to stay awake in the car (I'm notorious for falling asleep in the car when not pregnant and exhausted so this is a challenge). All the ice cream talk is funny. While we were at my brother and SIL's try received a surprise ice cream delivery from a friend (awesome friend clearly) and I was already craving some after that. Now I may have to make DH stop at an ice cream shop on our way home....
Well, all H's stuff is packed up, and the new crib is upstairs (still needs to be assembled). I guess we're actually going to need to move his clothes and things upstairs next week and we could potentially move him into his room by next weekend. I feel panicky. Someone tell me moving him out of the nursery will be ok!! Lol
I read this as your husband was leaving you and I'm all "omg, what did I miss?" The actual meaning is much better, whew!

Hahaha oh my. As crazy as he drives me sometimes, that would be awful! I don't know what I would do without him!

Well, my surprise sprinkle was this afternoon. It was very cute. Thankfully there weren't a lot of people there (apparently some were scared away by weather - but that's fine by me!), so it was pretty chill. Unfortunately, DS threw up all over himself on the way there, and I didn't have a change of clothes in my diaper bag for him since he just switched clothing sizes. Mother of the year here. I'm pretty sure he gagged himself. He wasn't acting sick when we got to our destination. It smells terrible, though, and I can't wait to throw him in the bath after we get home from running a few errands and getting dinner. And then I need to scrub the car seat. Yuck.
Baby girl is set on newborn and 3 month sleepers, though! Haha!

@wineandcupcakes amoxicillin 850mg twice a day... taken in a spoon of strawberry jelly to avoid nasty taste ;-)
If you go back into the walk-in they may want to put you on Augmentin. It's a broader-spectrum antibiotic.
I reliably throw up augmentin. They gave me tylenol with codeine to help with face pain until the congestion and swelling clear up. I'm hoping I don't throw up codeine too.

My back is killing me from standing and cooking. I'm resting, watching Indiana Jones with MH, and having some very inappropriate thoughts about circa 1981 Harrison Ford LOL

Just making it here today. Funeral this morning then my nephew's birthday party and then we walked to the park with all the kids. My dad was playing with DS and decided to go down the slide with him. Anyway got DS's leg stuck. DS screamed bloody murder and then couldn't walk. So my sister's friend who's a pediatric resident took a look and thought he needed some imaging. Took him to the ER thank goodness nothing is broken just a sprain. But he still won't walk. Not what this 36 week pregnant mom needed. Still grateful it's nothing more serious. My poor dad is all kinds of guilty. Forgot to tell him sliding with a kid in your lap isn't cool anymore.

Three trays of chicken enchiladas and some waffles for the freezer done! And MH is making his sloppy joes this afternoon. Feeling much better about the food situation! ETA it seems like I'm making a ridiculous amount for the freezer, but between my ILs and my family we usually have to feed at least five adults when folks visit. Those trays will be gone in the first few weeks after baby is born. I'd almost guarantee it.
My niece is coming over later for a sleepover. Thank goodness because J is off the chain over here. Winter sucks for entertaining a preschooler. We usually go to the park or at least play in the yard everyday during spring/summer/fall. But winter... ugh. Stuck inside.

oldbaylover1024 you're a better person than I am. If my freaking family is visiting, they better bring pizza or casseroles or groceries with them!
You have not met my ILs LOL They never come over (it's too far - about 45 mins) and, when they do, they come in packs of three or four plus their kids. It's a mad house. Sometime they bring food, but usually not.
My family usually shows up two hours after they say they will, but at least they come with food. And it's usually two adults, no other kids.
I just make sure I'm prepared for any situation at this point.

ellabee question about your newborn photos - did you contact a photographer before you gave birth and let them know you're interested and put down a deposit and all that, or did you just wait until after the birth and contact someone? Thank you!
Most of my ILs will ignore the birth of this baby just as they've ignored DS for close to 3 years. MIL is currently banned from my house, so that solves that food problem!

I contacted her a few months ago and put down a deposit. Once I gave birth I let her know and she gave me a date for the actual photo session.
They usually like to do newborn photos around 7-10 days old so it's best to set someone up in advance.
