So, now that I am back to work, I think my supply is dropping a little. I find when I am home, DD never seems completely full after feeding on the breast. I need to up how much I am pumping at work from 1-2 times to 2-3, but I hate my hands free pumping bra. You guys used to talk about cups or something that you raved about?? Any suggestions I'll take, anything to help boost my supply a little bit). As for the weekend, today we have my niece's baptism which of course is smack dab in the middle of DS' naptime. Awesomesauce. Then we are going back to me ILs to celebrate my niece's first birthday. Then tonight is the PATRIOTS GAME!! Go pats!!!
adouces06 - Good luck with the baptism. I am kind dreading getting back into the whole "conflicts with naptime" phase. And, yes - Go Pats!
DH took DD2 skiing, so it's just me, DD1 and DS this morning. DD2 decided last year she didn't want to ski anymore and I don't blame her. It's not appealing to me in any way. As soon as DS is old enough to take lessons, DH will be taking him.
DS is starting to hate his infant seat (and I am, too, because of how heavy it is now). He never used to mind it, but now he's miserable in it. I want to go shopping, but I don't want him crying throughout the store. And right now I only have an umbrella stroller, but I haven't tried him in it yet. Maybe if he likes the stroller, DD can push him in the stroller while I push the shopping cart. I look forward to him being able to sit up well enough to sit him in the cart. Should be soon!
I decided Saturday would be my weigh-in day for Weight Watchers. I'm down 5.6 lbs since Sunday. Woo hoo! The first week is always the biggest loss and I will likely never lose that much in a week again, but it's great motivation to keep going. And I signed up during their "Lose 10 pounds on us" campaign... if you lose at least 10 pounds in the first two months, they will refund you 2 months. Of course, they don't make it easy to get the refund, so most people probably won't even bother going through the hassle. You better believe I'm going to submit all my crap to get that refund after I hit the 10 pound mark.

Good morning, and go Pats!
I have a 3 month old today! I cannot believe how quickly time is going. G celebrated by sleeping almost 8 hours last night! Of course I still woke up starting at 4, but it's okay. MH took N to swimming, and he said it's a bigger class than last session. There isn't really anything else on the agenda today. Just hanging out and watching the game tonight.
Tomorrow I'm taking the boys up to my mom's for the night. My mom's friend is throwing her a surprise retirement party, and MH is working. It's my first big trip alone with them, but I think we'll be fine. MH offered to go grocery shopping on Monday so I won't have to go when we get back.

jwinct, that's awesome! I really need to sign up for WW again. Maybe I'll do it today. I did well on it in the past so I think I'll be able to do well again.
adouces06 I'm a fan of my simple wishes hands free bra. Freemie is another option that may work with other pumps--I haven't tried it, but might if I continue pumping. I'd also suggest oatmeal and flax seed meal to help with supply--I'm going to try to make overnight oats for weekday breakfasts to see if it helps me.
jwinct Way to go on the weight loss! I forgot to weigh in this morning
I will be the voice of reason --boo Pats, booooo ;-)
I need to do stuff, but baby is napping in my lap. I got in some okay time with DS1 earlier this morning which was fun.
No big plans for the long weekend aside from meal planning and prep, and trying to stay sane.

DD has gymnastics this morning. Need to go grocery shopping today and do some laundry. Nothing else planned.
Tomorrow we need to go drop off DD'S daycare registration form since registration opens and it's first come first serve. My mom and uncle are coming over for lunch. That's pretty much it.
So, the stroller is up in the rafters in the garage and there's currently so much crap in the way that I can't even put the step ladder in the right spot to try to get it, and I don't feel like moving stuff around. Plus, I'd probably kill myself during the attempt. I'll wait for DH to get home and make him get it down. (DH's truck doesn't really fit in the garage, so we use his side for storage.)
adouces06 DD1 slept through her baptism (at about 9 months old). I kept waiting for her to wake up screaming the whole time.
We got O batpised at my Mom's church (the church I grew up in) a month before my Mom passed away. I'm not sure what compelled me to do it so early but I'm really glad we did.
DH and the toddler are picking up sticks in the back yard. I think we're finally over the stomach thing totally - had homemade waffles for breakfast. Not sure what the day holds since the ice storm is supposed to start something this afternoon/evening.
@holachica safe travels! vavavictoria hellz no to a snake farm. Nope nope nope. jwinct I cannot wait to move DS2 into a convertible car seat. He does ok in the infant carrier, but man, is he heavy! I don't remember DS1 feeling so heavy, but I guess I didn't have a toddler to worry about as well. As soon as it's warm out I'm ditching the carrier.
It's DH's first full weekend off since before Christmas, so it was nice to have him home this morning. DS1 really looks forward to weekend breakfasts (H always make pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc) and has been missing it I think. He was so pumped today. I met my sister to get all her kids' Christmas presents. I was trying to hold out and make her come here to get them, but finally got so sick of all that stuff laying around. I met her at Target about a half hour away. H and I got into an argument before I left, so I ended up walking around Target with her for an hour before heading home. It was stupid and petty, but he had me feeling some kind of way, so I'm glad my sister wanted to kill time. I feel better now. Except for the head cold I'm getting. Thanks DS1.
adouces06 I don't know if it was a fluke or placebo but I drank the green gatorade that they say increases supply the last 3 days and I've been engorged again at times. I tried mother's milk tea and lactation cookies with dd1 but didn't notice a difference. And pumping more frequently will eventually increase supply too.
We're on our way to a family party today. It's kind of a hike. Both girls napped for like a half hour. But now dd2 is crying. I hate driving with crying babies. Even though I'm the passenger right now. We even pulled over to feed her. And now it's probably a burp or gas. I thought my sore throat/cold was getting better, but now my nose is all sorts of a hot mess, runny but stuffy.

Do you know if it has to be the original Gatorade or if the G2 works as well? I've been trying to increase my supply as well. Probably just a growth spurt but DS is sucking me dry.

Oooh I don't even know. I bought the only green one target had. I'll check the bottle when I get home.

For those of you interested/traumatized by the thought of the snake farm, it was pretty fun. Lots of snakes in cages, v got to pet a giant yellow snake (maybe a boa), and then there was a petting zoo, lions, mountain lions, hyenas, monkeys and parrots. V had a blast and I think we will definitely take her back again.
We went to the aquarium and they had a snake out for kids to pet. I am illogically afraid of them. I was like, "I'm a mom and I need to be brave and not pass on the fear." So I faked being excited and took him up to pet the snake. As we started to get close, I started getting physically hot and light headed and had to sit down. I won't be trying that again.
This past summer I took DD to a playground. I decided to be less helicopter-mom-ish, so I let her sort of explore the grassy areas around the playground. She tripped and fell but seemed ok. Only she wouldn't get up and walk. She just kept looking down at the ground and was like pointing down and telling me something even though I was too far to hear her. I walked over to her and saw that it was a pretty big hole she had tripped over/into. And there was a freaking snake in it!! She was trying to tell/show me that she found a snake. I was completely horrififed. She wanted to hold it too. We left immediately, obviously.
Baptism went well. DS was an angel (shocking!), and DD was fine once I nursed her when she woke up. We went back to my ILs for food and cake after, and either I managed to get food poisoning or I have the stomach bug that's been going around. I feel awful and can't keep anything down. No fever though, so I'm hoping it's just I ate something bad, that way I can't pass it along to the kids. So awful though.😖

Yay for the baptism but so sorry about not feeling well. If it is the stomach bug it passed quickly for all of us!
Still not sure what was going on with me last night. Started throwing up around 730ish, couldn't keep anything down until 3am, and now I seem to be on the mend and have kept down water and pedialyte (which I never realized how absolutely disgusting pedialyte is...). I am sort of hoping it was something I ate so the kids don't get it, but I will just have to be extra vigilant the next few days watching them. Crappiest part of being sick, my supply took a hit. Going out later today to stock up on green Gatorade.
