1) S just turned 2 years old last week. Time flies! Her newest skill is jumping tho she hasn't actually left the ground yet. She is so proud of herself when she does it.
2) Her Baby. My God she loves that doll. It's a small cabbage patch kid that is dressed like a monkey. It was $11 at Target. Baby goes everywhere w us (and we have two just in case). In fact, Baby is currently in a choke hold while S sleeps w her. So cute.
3) S's dad sings Once Upon a Dream (from Sleeping Beauty) to her while they spin around the room dancing. She loudly proclaims "daddy song" when she hears it. If DH is home when it comes on she orders "dance".
4) gf loves to color!
5) Pasta has become a big love in our house. She calls it "patpa". Again, so stinkin cute.
6) She is at such a fun age now. I've always enjoyed my time w her but now she is so vocal and expressive. She cracks me up all the time. My favorite is when she scowls at you. Rarely seriously. Usually bc she wants you to do it back so we all start laughing.
1. 4 (but 5 in 2 months, ahh) and 21 months. DS2 is picking up so many words now and has 2 word phrases. He also loves taking off his clothes, so there's that. 2. DS1 is in love with trains. He has been since he was a baby. There are a ton of trains in Chicago. In the summer I used to take him to train stations and read a book while he watched trains. We would be there for hours. He knows everything he possibly can about trains. It's impressive. 3. They're just both sweet kids who love giving me kisses. I'll take them all. 4. DS1 always loves playing trains, shocking I know. DS2 is super into drawing. He takes it very seriously. It's so cute. He also sings Let It Go, which is more like "wet go". I love it. 5. They'll happily pasta or strawberries every day. 6. I think I have the cutest kids in the world, but I might be slightly biased
1. H will be two on March 1, coming up quick! He's saying a lot more words now, slow to talk, but he's learning more everyday. He's very into helping, unloading groceries, throwing ice in the sink that was dropped, throwing trash away (even in a parking lot). 2. He doesn't really have one favorite thing. It kind of changes in the moment. Tonight he would not let go of his fish that are sponges. He was walking around saying mine and would not give them up. 3. He has learned to pucker his lips up for a kiss and does it on his own before I leave him at daycare and before bed. 4. H also loves to color. He would seriously do it all day long. 5. His current phase has been strawberries with bananas and/or graham crackers. 6. I agree with you on this age. H gives me looks that are so hilarious and when he starts to babble with intensity to go along with the looks, I wonder what he's telling me. I can only imagine what it will be like when he can talk more.

1. 10 1/2 months. He just started clapping and saying "yay" yesterday!
2. His wubbanub and Sophie the giraffe
3. He gives me the biggest hug when I pick him up from his crib from naps or in the morning. He just wraps his arms around my neck and squeezes me. It melts me every time.
4. Going to music class every week
5. Yogurt, strawberries or black beans and rice
6. R has been dancing lately every time he hears music. Cutest thing ever!
1) How old is LO(s) now? Newest skill/phrase/etc? E is 2.5, and can now sing the whole alphabet. So when P cries I tell her to go sing to her, and she always sings the alphabet. P is almost 9m. She has started pulling up and is SO close to crawling!

4) Favorite activity? E loves to sing and dance. P loves to eat!
5) Favorite food? E is a really, really good eater. She loves everything, but fruit is her all time jam. P is a little more difficult with her food allergies (we haven't tried many foods) but she loves ham.

]1. 2 years, 4 mos. Hmmm, this is a hard one- there are so many funny little phrases they say. DS1 loves to tell us, "I see/ hear ..." He holds his little hand up to his eyes or ear and squeals when he hears or sees any sort of vehicle. DS2 is 100% with letters and colors and is such a chatterbox. My new favorite phrase: (when I open a dirty diaper) "oh geez (his nickname for himself)."
2. DS1 LOVES Mickey Mouse and trains. He also has a monkey lovey that is his true love. DS2 loves cars and carries around a matchbox car 90% of the time, calling it "cool car."
3. We pray for the baby in mommy's tummy at night and they both reach down and pat my stomach. DS1 says it's a baby brother and that his name is George. DS2 says it's a baby sister named Minnie Mouse.
4. DS1 loves any sort of dancing or music. He will distribute instruments to all members of the house and demand that we have a jam session. DS2 loves anything physical- jumping, being thrown in the air, being upside down. Anything risky.
5. DS1 could eat French fries all day, every day. DS2 is all about noodles with "mommy's special sauce" (aka butter).
6. I really love two. I know people say this age is so hard (and it has its moments), but watching their language and reasoning skills develop is equally adorable and hilarious.

Hey girls! It's been awhile since we've had a gtky...so let's have one about the kids!
1) How old is LO(s) now? Newest skill/phrase/etc? 2 1/2. She is talking up a storm. She always wants to know what is going on, so she will say to you "whatcha doin here" the way she phrases it cracks us up
2) What is LO(s) favorite thing/things in the whole world? She has a stuffed bear named friend
3) What is he/she/they doing that just melts your heart? Before I leave for work she needs about 4 hugs and kisses and then tells me to hug and kiss daddy too
4) Favorite activity? coloring and painting, playing with her princesses (little people castle)
5) Favorite food? blueberries and oatmeal, but not together
6) Anything else you want to add? she plays hide and seek. she tells me where she is going to hide, but then I have to pretend like I can't find her and look all over when she is in plain site.
1) DS will be 2 on March 3rd. He is starting to finally put 2 word phrases together like "Mama shoo" when he moves my shoes around the room. It's been a long time coming, so we're so excited every time it happens!
2) He loves brooms and dustpans and cleaning. He puts his stuff away when I show up at daycare every day and then tries to put away other toys - sometimes to the unhappiness of others because the others are still playing with them. But he'll put down the dustpan, sweep (sometimes invisible, sometimes real) things into the dustpan, proclaim "Trash!" and then walk over and dump it in the trash.
3) I watched him "read" a book about Curious George & a bunny yesterday. Turned the pages & said things like "uh oh!" when he unlocked the bunny hutch and "all gone!" when the bunny ran away. As a teacher/librarian, I wanted to cheer. Of course he wouldn't do it again for the video.
4) Being outside. Doesn't matter if it's 11 degrees or 95.
5) Guacamole. No kidding. And tacos. Bonus points if the tacos have guac or can be dipped in the guac.
6) I am thinking we're headed for some bumpy times when DD gets here in a few weeks, so I'm enjoying every last second we have as a family of 3. He'll always be the kid that made me a mommy!
M/c and D&C Mar 2011 at 9.5 weeks, Chemical/MC Jan 2012
IVF June 2012 - 8R, 0F, Rescue ICSI gave us a 3dt of 2 (6 cell, 9+ cell), DS born 3/3/13
Operation Sibling, June 2014 - 10R, 5F, 5dt, DD born 3/7/15
Everyone Welcome!
1) How old is LO(s) now? Newest skill/phrase/etc? DS is 2.5 this month and he makes us laugh every day with the words that come out of his mouth. Lately its "I love dis..." about everything and apparently I say "seriously" way too much because he said that out of nowhere. DD is almost 3 months old - she is constantly grinning and is this close to giggling.
2) What is LO(s) favorite thing/things in the whole world? DS's favorite thing is his Dada, especially lately. DH has been gone a lot with the snow and when DS hears him come in the door, it is the cutest ever! DD's favorite thing?? I guess me, her food source!
3) What is he/she/they doing that just melts your heart? DS is constantly giving DD kisses on top of her head and telling her "everything is fine" while patting her head when she cries.
4) Favorite activity? DS - playing trucks with Dada. DD - eating
5) Favorite food? DS - chicken and cheerios, not together
6) Anything else you want to add? I have a question - any suggestions for bottles for an EBF baby? DD will occasionally get a bottle when I'm out and used to have no problem with the Avent bottles but lately it seems too fast and shes gagging and choking. With so many bottles, I don't know where to start...
TTC ~ May 2010
Unexplained infertility ~ June 2011
3 IUIs, 1 m/c & 1 IVF = a baby boy on 8.18.12
A surprise after 2 failed FETs = baby girl on 11.24.14
1. C is 2y4m and such a chatty boy. His newest phrase is sweet & so funny. If he goes to time out (which is happening more often lately) he says 'Mommy don't put me in time out. I'm great!' He repeats it a ton during time out & I hide in the kitchen to keep from smiling/giggling.
2. C is obsessed with trains. When we read stories about trains he has to name all the types of train cars on a page before we move on to the next one.
3. Lately a few times a day C will say 'Mommy, I hold you.' When he wants me to pick him up and snuggle. It's the sweetest thing in the world and I hope he never stops saying it.
4. He loves to hide around the corner as DH is coming in from work each night and jump out and say 'boo!'. DH always acts so surprised/scared... Adorable! And for Daddy to swing him ridiculously high in the air immediately after.
5. Blueberries or applesauce
6. Last night DH told C we were going to pray about finding a new house. As DH would pray C would finish his sentences. It's amazing how much C understands and I love it.

1) How old is LO(s) now? Newest skill/phrase/etc? They will be 18 months on Feb 22. They just conquered their fear of going through the tunnel I got for them to play with for Christmas.
2) What is LO(s) favorite thing/things in the whole world? Ashley - food, the cat, Mickey Mouse, Mommy, Daddy, running amok in the living room at night. Kayla - Mommy, Daddy, her Minnie Mouse doll, whem Mommy makes funny faces and/or monkey noises. Both love Facetiming with Nana and Grandpa over the iPad.
3) What is he/she/they doing that just melts your heart? Giving kisses to Mommy! Hugging sissy! Hugging the cat! Chasing each other while laughing hysterically!
4) Favorite activity? Running around the living room at night while Mommy and Daddy play with them.
5) Favorite food? Ashley loves pretty much everything she's tried so far, with the exception of pasta. Kayla's picky but not too bad yet - she won't eat textured things (except for oatmeal cookies, which she loves). Bananas and vanilla banana custard always go over well with both.
6) Anything else you want to add? I'm the mom who posts 900 pictures of her kids and I'm not even remotely apologetic about it. Also, I think twins rock.

3) when she gets up in the higher levels of the playground, she likes to crouch down and kiss me through the bars.
4) BOOKS. Then her animal flash cards (her previous #1). She also loves the Zoo and asks daily to go.
5) yogurt. Like vanilla from trader joes. I buy it for DH for him out add granola, but she only wants to eat "daddy's yogurt".
6) her words are a scream! Her vocabulary is probably 300-500 words. Cinderella and Gorilla sound very similar. She is obsessed with the swan at the zoo or "saan". She spent 30 min last week talking to him, eating her snack with him, showing him leaves, dancing, etc. He is co-exhibited with the flamingoes, which dont seem to interest her nearly as much as "saan".
