18 month check up for E today. Not looking forward to shots. Our moms club is having a meet up but I'm not sure if we'll go. Depends how long the appointment goes. OT for S1 this afternoon.
I never update but before I took my long break were in the process of doing some testing with S1. It was determined that he had ADHD which was zero surprise to us. No Autism which was a relief. We started lots of therapies and then after about 1.5 months of just therapy we started a small dose of medication. He's done a complete 180. I actually started crying at Christmas break because I realize the Sunday before he went back to preschool that not once during the 2 week break did I think "man I can't wait until school starts up". Summer was HELL and I was constantly checking to see how many days were left. We are considering summer school for the sole purpose that he thrives on structure and routine

@mrspanpan - no doctor yet.. I'm using all forms of medicines to get this out of my system and it does seem to be moving. Yesterday my sinuses were completely swollen, today there is a little relief but it's moved into my chest.. Just gotta keep it going South!!!
K did better last night for the first time in a few. I really wish that the weather would make up its mind instead of being cold and then warming up and then getting cold again. She was so congested that it was coming out from her tear ducts. She looked a lot better this morning too!
Tonight is soccer for C. Hoping that I get them there early enough that C can stomp on the field before the coach gets there. If she gets too rambunctious I'll need to take her home and miss soccer.

The weather here has been crazy too. It's usually in the 20s-30s in January and we've been steadily hovering around 40s-50s with a random 30 degree day sprinkled in. It is not fun for the kids and their immune systems.

Guys, this happens to E a lot. I feel like it's generally after eating but I'll be honest I don't know. We see the pedi today so I'll ask her too. What could this be? A mild allergy?
taketheshot, go to the doctor. What you have is some kind of sinusitis infection it sounds like. and if over the counter meds aren't helping you need a prescription. bite the bullet and go. take the meds for a day and come back and thank me once you are feeling human again.
Ladies!! Just so you know, if I sent you the link to the 31 party I am hosting, shopping concludes tomorrow. So if you wanted to order now's the time to do so.

Dr. @janetheconquerer !! Better than Dr. Google I can't get there today since I'm babysitting but hopefully by Monday morning, when the office is open again, it'll be gone. Mucinex faithful over here

Y'all. I can't even put into words the sadness in my heart right now watching all of this news coverage. I can't believe this is happening. I wasn't really checking out TCF during the election so I don't know who is for DJT or not.. It doesn't matter.. I'm just nervous.... scared. As much as I don't like him I am genuinely scared for his life. People in this country are BSC and go to extremes.
taketheshot , we tended to pretty much not speak of the election over here. and we aren't too aware of the trump supporters, they have kept to themselves.
i did not vote for hilary. i will put that out there, nor did i vote for trump. i voted for a write in.
and yes, i am nervous about IF trump will survive the day.
what i will say, is this is not the end of the world. but if we continue to stand divided it might be the beginning of the end of america. we need to come together at this time. and show support for our country and system.
runningmommy519, I second the food journal if you think it might be food related. DS has a bad wheat allergy. Food allergies are one thing I don't mess with after our experience with finding out DS was allergic to wheat.
But, on the other end, does he rub his face up against anything? blankets, carpet? Could be a contact dermatitis.
So much snot. It's clear which is good but damn there's so much of it. W woke up at 6 but then nursed next to until almost 9. He's not really eating solids but he's nursing so I'm not super worried. And he doesn't have a fever thank goodness. We're supposed to go out to lunch with friends and their kids tomorrow but I'm not sure if we should cancel. Thoughts? Symptoms :cough and lots of clear mucus.
