I dreamt people were trying to break into our house last night. When I woke up and told DH, he was just happy we had a house in my dream and said any dream about moving up is a good one...
We're supposed to meet my mom group at the aquarium today and I should be super psyched bur they never plan where to meet and twice I've shown up and not been able to find the group. So I'm just telling myself that today w and I are going to the aquarium and if we find the group great but if not we'll have fun just the same.
That seems like a ridiculous problem. Surely the same thing has happened to others? Why can't they just plan where to meet....?! Hopefully you find them!
So we have been working on our house for the last year and half and the end is finally in sight! Just maybe another day or two of work left! I will for the first time since Ava was born, have a H who doesn't have to be working on house renovations every weekend, day off, etc. Yay!!!
runningmommy519 , so when i was up in MN last week, i thought it was funny/odd that the news caster would drive in his car and report on the road conditions. is that a normal thing?
I'm not sure! lol. It doesn't sound familar to me. I have a website that is run by the state that i go to when i need road conditions. It seems strange to me because the conditions would vary depending on what part of the city you were in. I mean the TC Metro is rather big.
They would do this in OKC. Not sure about here; I haven't watched a lot of local news since I moved here.
I forgot my phone at home. I dropped A off and was all the way to work before I realized it. My boss and clients text me all day long so I had to to back and get it. Good times today.

I just realized that I need to take DS to register for kindergarten today. Lol good thing I have 9 million planners so I can forget everything anyway right?!
I was able to get H to realize that his text he thought was funny wasn't funny at all and came across as nearly hostile. He responded at first that he can never tell what I will think is funny. Dude, read what you wrote. There was no hint of a lol. Don't be a dick.
DSHM13 are you looking to move even if it is not near family? Just trying to to get to a lower cost area?
Yeah. I've been on the east coast for over 10yrs and I miss the Midwest and the prices that come with it. Kansas City is my number one choice, it's taken DH 11yrs to agree to move there. Ultimately it depends on his job, since I work part time from home.
I have a group assignment in an online class. Are you kidding me? Worst teacher ever. He posted a video to tell us this, so also annoying way to give instructions.
He at least emailed me back to say everything for this week would be up by this afternoon. He hasn't done it yet, but at least he responded.
ampaints I did all of grad school online. Sometime the teachers were great, but some of them clearly didn't know how to teach a class online. It is so frustrating!

We moved over the weekend! But then I had no internet, so I wasn't on here. :-(
But now internet has been installed– hooray!
We are still waiting on National Grid for cooking gas though, which is super annoying. Yesterday afternoon I did a big groceries trip, and then started to make some food for Poppy that didn't involve milk, cheerios, banana or a pouch, because that's what she's been living on the whole weekend while we moved, and the stove wouldn't turn on. I could see the starter sparks, but couldn't smell any gas, so I knew that was the issue. We pulled out the stove to check if there was a hookup behind it that needed to be flipped. Nope. Called the landlord, and he came over and went to the basement to investigate. Apparently the line was turned off by National Grid and they locked the access to it. MH called National Grid this morning, and they said that they wouldn't be able to get to our place to fix it until January 24th! We had called them in December and moved the bill to our names to make sure everything would be set for when we moved in– why didn't they do it then?! MH ended up patiently arguing with them and they eventually said they'd send someone today. Still waiting....

Also, I've been dealing all morning with a student who thought he could get away with plagiarizing 13 pages of a 20 page paper. And because it's art school, now he's trying to claim that the plagiarizing was part of a conceptual project. But it wasn't. He's just a lazy scammer.
