DD is 9 months this Friday! How did this happen?!

We nurse 5-6 times a day and 2 overnight. Solids 3x a day.

Nights are good! Two wakeups pretty consistently but the second wakeup is getting later so I'm getting a good stretch in between finally!

All is well!

GTKY: I'm organized in my own way but not as organized as a lot of people. I tend to throw things places that make sense to me but my drawers and cabinets look messy.

How often are you nursing? Solids?
3-4 bottles at daycare, 2 nursing sessions in the evening. Like 1-3 at night without any kind of predicatability. He doesn't seem to be able to swallow solids yet. It's slow.

How are nights? See above. Fine, sometimes.

How is pumping/nursing going? Pumping is easy peasy. Nursing is okay. Why does he keep biting me? Why does he keep breaking off and screaming and trying again and screaming again? I think the answers might be 1- teething and 2- frustration with slower flow sometimes, but I don't know if I'm missing something.

GTKY: How organised are you? What's your organisation essential? I'd give myself a C+ in organization. I always want more because my life seems to exist in various, sometimes strategic piles.

How old is baby? 10.5 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing 7-9 times a day. Solids 3 meals plus a small snack in the afternoon.
How are nights? If she sleeps past 11:30 we have a great night. One wake up. If she wakes up before 11:30 she usually has a hard time going back down and is up for an hour or so, then up 2-4 more times in the night. I don't know how to keep her asleep past that 11:30 sweet spot sometimes.
How is pumping/nursing going? Fine. I'm hoping to get to 500oz of donated milk before I wean at a year, and I'm painfully close, but not sure if it'll happen or not. I'm getting about 2.5-3 oz of pumped milk a day and need about 65 more oz to get there I think. Plus she gets a little in a cup every night at bedtime. Nursing is fine, I'm just ready to be done.
Q/rants/raves: I'm really getting ready to wean and I hope it goes ok. I think there's a few sessions she won't miss, but the evenings are still very fussy and I'm worried it won't go well.
GTKY: How organised are you? What's your organisation essential? I consider myself a very organized person. DH drives me crazy because he's not at all and can never find anything. I use my planner all the time to organize our schedules, household stuff, meals, and budget. I love it.

How old is baby?
DD will be 6 months old on Wednesday, so I guess I go here now!

How often are you nursing? Solids?
Nursing on demand when I'm home.. which is about 6-8 times per day when I'm home all day on weekends. 3-5 on workdays, depending on how many times shes up at night.

How are nights?
Ugh. Not good lately. We were very, very spoiled for a good 2 month stretch with getting 10-12 hours.. but that is a very distant memory since around Thanksgiving. Two wake ups is a great night these days. We'll usually get at least one good 4-6 hour stretch, but then also one awful stretch of 3-4 wakeups in a 3-4 hour timeframe.

How is pumping/nursing going?
We've had great luck so far. Pumping has its ups and downs (literally) since I've gone back to work. My supply dipped in the beginning so I started some supplements and it rebounded completely. Tried weaning myself off of the supps and realized I still need them, which I'm okay with. Nursing is still going great when we get to do it!

How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD somewhere around 8, solids 3x

How are nights? Have been pretty good just getting up once, until last night, we are having some tummy troubles again. Poor girl

How is pumping/nursing going? Great!

Q/rants/raves LO had another reaction to something or idk has a stomach bug... it's not as bad as last time, no blood this time. I can't think of anything weird she ate... I hope it passes quicker this time. We will have to talk to the doctor again and see if they want to do testing or what now. Before they advised waiting and starting over with introing the allergens. We did that and she didn't have any reactions. I don't think it's a full blown allergy but maybe just a sensitivity to something, not clue what though now.

GTKY: How organised are you? What's your organisation essential? Pretty organized when I get stressed I organize. I feel stressed when the house is in disorder or too messy.

How old is baby? 7 months in 4 days!

How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing 6-7x per day, 0-1x at night. Solids 1x day, purées and starting some teething wafers this week

How are nights? Not terrible. We unintentionally night weaned because he has been sleeping 10-12 hours straight for a few weeks but teething is in full fledge so we are waking usually once to nurse. He goes back to sleep only 30% of the time so that's been fun.

How is pumping/nursing going? Nursing is fine. I got a nursing necklace and it has worked wonders for the distractions and popping off. Pumping, I still don't get enough to get to where he needs while I'm at work but we are supplementing and it's going fine.

Q/rants/raves: none really! He's been an angel other than the up at 4am deal!

GTKY: How organised are you? What's your organisation essential? I try, I really do. My phone. I try to keep notes of everything to refer back to. Otherwise I'm lost!!

How often are you nursing? Solids? Nurse about 4 times during the days and I have no idea how often at night. Maybe 3 or 5.

How are nights? Not bad usually. Right now she has a cold and can't lay flat, so it's miserable. We usually bed share and the only way I can get her to sleep is by nursing. But now we can't do that so it's... Challenging.

How is pumping/nursing going? Pretty well. She's not eating much while sick which worries me a little, but she just can't breathe.

How often are you nursing? Solids? 5-6 times a day I guess. Sometimes more. Solids 3-4x a day. DS LOVES solids now. Purées, cheese sticks, yogurt, you name it and he wants it.



How are nights? Usually very good lately. Except tonight. 4 wake ups since 7. I just have him Tylenol thinking maybe it's his teeth.



How is pumping/nursing going? Good I think



Q/rants/raves I worry about ds not nursing enough because he is far more interested in solids. But I keep offering and every I've done a weighted feed he seems to be getting anywhere from 4-4.5 oz. his weight is always a concern and it's been going up. Fx.
