Trying to be productive today. So far I've rearranged the cupboards and moved our dishes into the hutch DH brought upstairs this weekend. I found a mobile service for car detailing so my van is being cleaned right now. I still have to go get ink for the printer, and pick up a package a lazy Purolator guy wouldn't drop off last week. I have so many baby related things to do but I have yet to do any of those. I'm calling the van detailing a baby thing though because I want the van cleaned before I rearrange car seats.

Both mh and I had the day off so we took the littles to a children's museum. It was a decent time. C was a bit young for it, but there were still some things he liked.
I have 2 sick kids on day 4 of a horrid cough and runny noses. Both have coughed so hard it's lead to puking.
Puke is the worst.
I'm probably going to bring on the plague for saying this, but DD1 has never vomited outside of like baby reflux, and DD2 had bad reflux for a bit, but same thing, no actual barf. I'm not looking forward to the day our luck runs out, I can't handle people vomit. I've dealt with terrible things with animals in my old job, but I can't deal with human sickness. Makes me want to barf/pass out.

Where did you go, Port? They had a cute train exhibit I saw online!

Also does anyone else still pass clots with AF?
I'm still passing clots almost every cycle that are at least the size of a quarter, the first 2-3 days of each cycle. My annual is coming up in a couple months so I plan to ask but thought I'd check with you ladies too.

Yes we did! And that was what B likes the most- the train.

Oh it is terrible. The smell just ruins a day lol Well mine aren't flu sick it is they are coughing so hard from so much mucus....still doesn't make it better lol I am on puke duty at my house because my H can't handle, H is on poop duty with dogs and has no issues with kid poop so he does that mostly lol
Oh I am so tired of colds. We need nice weather to get fresh air

I don't know if I would say clots but after this pregnancy this is the first time ever I have had massive heavy periods. Which I too will be bringing up at my next appt. I mean like using super tampons and needing to change after like 2 hours. I used to have light short cycles.

My cycles have evened out but the first 3 days are way heavier than they've ever been. I'm at a 5-6 day cycle. It's weird.

My H and I are planning on making an offer on a house tonight. We decided that if we don't get the place that we are going to take a break from house hunting and go on vacation somewhere warm in early February. So, I'm happy either way haha.

Yeah that is about where I am too but those first few days are brutal
How are your toddlers doing with eating? I feel like he is reaching a stage of pickiness. He used to eat everything...but now he only likes fruit and bread/pasta. I've been trying lots of veggies prepared in different ways and it is frustrating. He did like mashed buttnernut squash with butter the other day...but other than than, I'm not getting many veggies in him

G is getting to be more picky about things. He usually goes after carbs and veggies first and then if he's still hungry he'll maybe go after the meat.

Terrible. She used to be a champ with eating, now she rejects all unless, yogurt, cheese, mandarine oranges and sometime hummus and blueberries. She hates all meat. so annoying.

That's what my pre pregnancy periods were like, since I was a teenager, and they lasted close to 10 days. Post pregnancy I feel like I won the freaking lotto (I actually thought maybe I was pregnant) with these light 4 day periods

E loves veggies. He'd eat greens all day and night if I let him. I have to give him the meat first or he'll go straight for the veggies. His favorite is cucumbers. I cut them up into little matchsticks.

Eating is actually an area where C shines. He loves meats, dairy, carbs and is ok w fruit and veggies. He is always signing fore more food and will usually eat what my DD leaves behind (she is my picky one).

DD is getting more picky too. Still loves all fruit and most veggies, but sometimes will not touch eggs or meat.

They all hit this differently, it's so crazy. W is eating almost exclusively proteins, carbs are not even entertained. Some fruit is acceptable, veggies are mostly a no go. A refuses any and all meat and fruits and veggies are touchy but carbs are devoured

SO picky. Her sister didn't get picky until like 3-almost 4. She won't eat meat without a lot of probing and won't eat veggies basically ever. I've had to make zucchini meatloaf and muffins to feel like she's getting something green in her diet. Meat, she leaves to last and then SOMETIMES I can get her to eat some of it if I give her a fork then she kind of eats through playing with it. Even things she does like changes daily. Like she'll refuse eggs one day then devour them the next. Even with usual big hits like fruit, yogurt and cheese. The only consistent thing she'll eat with no issue is bread. I keep trying to get her on to smoothies but she'll only drink from a Take'n'Toss cup and the holes are too small to pass a thick smoothie. I'm trying to get her on to the 360 cups like her sister or even a straw so I can start getting sneaky. She's just so stubborn on everything.
I was going to start her on Pediasure, but the public health nurse told me she was fine she we went in for her vaccines. She's on the smaller end of the scale but body fat is ok, color is perfect, muscle tone and strength are great, so she told me not to worry. It's still maddening when they won't eat.
Another frustrating thing my guy does, is he likes to stick his fingers in the back of the throat which sometimes triggers his gag reflex. So sometimes when I get him to eat a good meal, he pukes. Babies!
littleredfish, OMG I just saw your ticker, I can;t believe you are at 36 weeks! Yikes! You ready : ) Oh and did you guys decide on a name?
I know! Final stretch, it's crazy. Feeling very unprepared but also very done. My hips are anyway. And still no girl name. DH is dragging his feet and won't really answer or give feedback. So annoying.

Hi ladies! I feel like I don't check in here often enough. I will work on that.
For us, we booked a trip to Paris in a couple months. Since I'm bored at work and anxious to get our relocation underway, I'm letting this trip consume me. So I have lots of fun planning and shopping and cultivating a perfect wardrobe.
O got her first haircut last night, it's adorable but she looks much older and it's making my heart hurt.
We are still TFAS, though admittedly half-heartedly since I'd love to drink lots of champagne in Paris.
