Anyone else dealing with this? What's working & not working? With DD and DS I would get nauseous, but as long as I ate something, I was good to go, and went about my day. I wouldn't even call it morning sickness. This time, eating doesn't really make the nausea stop. Laying down and not moving is what's working. I bought some of the preggie pops, which worked, but I can't sit & eat candy all day. My RE said that whatever symptoms I did have, they'd be worse, due to twins, so I don't think I'm worse than just regular run of the mill morning sickness. Whatcha got ladies?
Is eating candy a "thing" that helps MS? I have never heard of this and this is my 4th pregnancy. If so, I'm headed to the store for some jolly ranchers.

Yep, it is. I can't remember when I learned about it, but I ate a bunch of Jolly Ranchers my last pregnancy. It really does work for me.
If you aren't already, maybe take your prenatal vitamin at night not AM?
And get plain b6 not a multi-b.
Just curious why you say to avoid a multi-b. Is it just in terms of minimizing MS or generally? I've been taking a multi-b since TTC because it also has an extra 300ug folic acid (my prenatal only has 500ug and 800 is the recommendation here). I was just going to continue taking it through first tri...
Yup yup yup. All day nausea. Tangy/sour foods and drinks seem to work for me: mandarin oranges ice water with lemons cranberry juice
Also just constantly having something in my mouth - so I suck on Werther's and eat Ritz crackers like they are going out of style.
Lying down helps, but also moving around (going for a walk or something). The danger zone seems to be sitting in one place, which sucks because that's what I do at work all day.

unisom! I have lived on it during every pregnancy. On my worst days I will do a half tab during the day and a whole tab at night before bed. It is hard because it of course makes you sleepy, but I would rather be extra sleepy than extra pukey.

Moving around helps me the most. I felt great all weekend because I was on my feet the whole time. It's when I'm sitting down at work that it really gets to me. I just constantly snack on crackers or hard candies.

andtheheartbreakers, so much love going out to you. I will stop all my whining and complaining now. You are absolutely incredible mama!
Thank you!!! Everyone dealing with any kind of MS is a superhero - it sucks and everyone has a right to complain no matter what end of the spectrum they're on! I knew what I was getting myself into getting pregnant again but honestly didn't think it would be this bad. It's easier mentally this time though because I see my daughter being the cutest thing ever and it makes it tolerable knowing I'm getting another one of her out of this!!
Here's just hoping that it goes away after first tri and not all the way to 40 weeks like it did last time!

Just because of nausea. So of the ones in the b family like niacin and I think a few others can cause nausea at least in some people. I'm really sensitive to them for some reason and it's gotten to the point where even just the smell of regular multivitamins with all the B's or of a Bmulti makes me gag even when not preggo. Plain B6 doesn't bother me though. I also take a B multi which is co-enzymes or something like that not the typical forms of the vitamins and that doesn't make me nauseous and also has the methyl forms of folate and b12 which I think work better for me (methyl rather than cyano b12 is recommended for everyone; I suspect MTHFR though haven't had genetic testing to confirm which makes regular folic acid not very effective and methyl folate better)
