Yay for progress becole! Hopefully he gets the hang of it soon once he's full time next week.
vlagroupie bring the ring sling to wine night... We will help you! Do you have an insert for the ergo? I think you can use the ergo insert for the tula if you would like to borrow my tula. I just bought a toddler, so my standard is just sitting there until next baby.
Edit to fix tag and I totally wasn't even done.
I went and looked at paint swatches and carpet today for when we move. I was told tans are out and grays are in, so I think we are going with a very light grey with almost a tan undertone for our bedroom and the guest bedroom. We have someone coming tonight to give us a quote. I can't believe we are only a couple months away from selling.

I don't have an infant insert. But she is over 9 lbs and I put a blanket in the bottom and she seemed pretty snug. I will bring the rs to wine night, thanks! Re: paint I used ivory brown valspar and I love it. And Ben Moore revere pewter. Ben Moore is expensive but my painter takes the color swatches to porter paint and they just match up and use their paint.

I just need to vent for a minute.
So I was transferring to Gateway for the Spring semester to finish out my gen ed right? I started this process back in September and it has been such a clusterfuck of failed communication that it is a wonder anyone goes to school there. Due to their ridiculousness I'm pretty much SOL for the Spring semester and ready to say fuck it and pay 3x more per class to not deal with this shit. For example: They failed to tell me until today that if I plan to take out loans I have to submit a separate request in order to review my eligibility. Here's where it gets really good, I can't request loans until I'm enrolled in classes and then the request takes 15 business days, I can't enroll in classes until I meet with my advisor on the 26th (classes start 2/6), and because the full term has already begun my tuition is due immediately in full when I enroll in my classes because the deadline to setup a payment plan has already passed (spoiler: I need the loans to pay for tuition).
Sorry that's a bunch of TL:DR I'm just really upset and ready to drink.

mrscatfarmer13 - Can you take one semester off in order to get everything straightened out? Start back up in the summer? I know you want to finish, but at the same time, that's money.
mrscatfarmer13 I remember that kind of crap from college too. It was never that bad, but still so annoying. Like no one has common sense that works in financial aid.
I've had all kinds of Pinterest activities I've wanted to do with the kids since I started. I've really been wanting to implement some structure to the day, especially now that it's so cold and we can't just park hop everyday. Anywho, I knew there was no room to put stuff where they were living, plus I have no motivation to buy things for work in my free time. Enter today, they're finally in their new house and we're all going a little stir crazy fighting over the same toys constantly. I decide to take the children with me to buy some basics - Michaels and Kroger. We go to Michaels, they both surprised me with being completely cooperative. Go to leave, NK sees Jungle Jims and asks to go there. Sure, kid. We can get the same things there that I wanted from Kroger. I used a car cart for the first time and they were so happy! I think we'll go back another time just to wander the aisles in the car cart because they were so quiet. So, now we're stocked up. I took them to CFA too, but they were so tired they didn't want to do the play area and now NK is taking a great nap. We were off to a rough start this morning, but I'm going to call today a success.
DH is finally home from his Vegas "business trip" I'm definitely justified in handing off the toddler and jumping in a lush bath with a glass of wine, right?

I missed this yesterday. I'm going to talk to my advisor next week and weigh my options. I'll still go to gateway and then transfer to back to NKU to finish my BS, but yesterday I was over it all. Like dealing with Gateway is just a huge PITA because they are part of a larger organization of Ky community colleges so anytime you call you get someone that deals with all the colleges in the org(and they all of have different policies) and information sometimes get mixed up.
hbrockman01 if you're reading this too, don't be scared off by my bitching it's probably not the same experience for first time college students and you have me as a guinea pig.
