My siblings are in town and headed over soon with my parents. We will probably spend all day camped out out the couch playing with W and passing M back & forth. It's rainy and gross all weekend so I'm glad to have company. Anybody going to any local women's marches today? I hate that it's so rainy for the one here but it sounds like there will still be a good turnout.
We don't have one in our small town and the closest major city is 10 hr drive with icy roads so I'm passing on the marches today but I support everyone attending 100%.
My friend Brie Nielson is performing at a cafe today. She sings acoustic style folk music. I'm going with DD to see her perform. If DS feels better he will come too.
H is going spelunking with friends today so I'll have O all day. We're heading grocery shopping soon and I'm hoping he'll take an amazing nap again today. After at least a month of fighting for 30 minute naps the last few days have been much longer. FX that whatever sleep regression was going on is over. Today's my mom's birthday so we're going out to lunch tomorrow to celebrate. Aside from that, nothing really going on here. I'm also hoping that leaving the house will put O into a better mood. He's been crying about every.little.thing. I'm going to assume you are all in the same boat.

I just picked the lock on my bedroom door with a toothpick. Other than that, nothing too exciting here today. H is playing in a MTG tournament so it will just be J and I for most of the day. I need to pack up some books that came in this week that were giveaways and get those delivered/mailed.
Surprisingly not that hungover from last night. DH on the other hand is still sleeping, so I don't know how he's feeling. I think we're gonna meet his friends for lunch and then explore New Orleans a bit before the wedding tonight.
billyhorrible, tickets are still not on sale for when they come to LA ... right? You got me scared now ! I signed up to get an alert, and only those with season passes have theirs I believe.
As far as I know, only NY, Chicago, and SF are on sale.
But as a warning, do physical checks and follow them on social media. I signed up for email alerts for all of them and didn't get word for either SF, or the season tickets at the Pantages. I don't trust them.

Hello! We had a busy morning of the Little Gym and grocery shopping and now DS is napping, and when he wakes up, his little booty is getting shipped to grandmas for the night! I'm a little scared because it'll be his first night away, but I am so stinking excited for date night and a leisurely Sunday morning!
I got a summons for jury duty...while I'm supposed to be in Canada. Fingers crossed they'll postpone my date for me! It's a two week period where I have to call in daily and see if I'm needed. That will be equal to $1000 lost in pay, too, since I won't be able to schedule any sub jobs. Awesome. Just what we need!
But, I had ice cream and it was 65 outside today, so that's nice!
Would it be terrible if I had a big glass of red wine with dinner tonight? Maybe it will kick start labor?
My last week of pregnancy I had a 1/2 glass for few nights. Everyone told me it relaxes you and kickstarts labor. I also ate a pineapple and walked up and down our staircase a million times
Slow day here, did our usual Saturday morning grocery run and then hung out around the house. LO woke up from his nap super cranky so we did a coffee run. That's about it.

We're up and I've already made brownies because they sounded delicious. I think we're going to take a trip to Barnes & Noble today- we need a little refresh in our bedtime story library. Not to mention that C loooooooves books so I think she'll be in heaven:)
Last night we went to a lacrosse game with my family, and today all 4 of us will be participating in a fundraiser walk for Alzheimer's with some extended family!
My ILs came over yesterday for a visit and to stay with the kids overnight. They live a couple hours away so it's never worked out for them to do that before so they were pretty excited.

It's my morning with the kids so DH can sleep in a little. When he gets up, we're going out to breakfast then to the supermarket. I'm going to try to get some work in this afternoon/evening too.
C and I are hanging out at home while DH is at work. I'm cleaning while he plays/ watches toy story 2. After nap we are going to my moms to celebrate my nieces 8th birthday.

Our first sleepover was a success! MIL said he did awesome, and sounds like he went to sleep without too much fuss and mostly slept through the night, yay! H and I had a great night too, except I'm feeling pretty lame for how little wine it took for me to feel like I drank too much! And this morning Jilly was clearly distraught wondering where W was. But now he's home, everyone is happy, and my house is a total wreck.

Crib to toddler bed conversion complete! It took a little longer than I expected because *someone* kept stealing my allen wrenches and screaming. I finally made H take him into the living room and distract him with the TV.
Running some errands and grocery shopping today, once I get our menu figured out for the week.

DH is working today, so I'm home with all 3 kids. Big kids did the necessary homework for the day. DD finally woke up without a fever for the first time since Tuesday. I want to go running SO BAD but I'm trying to let my knee get better. Keeping kids alive, and laundry are the only things on my list today.
The H worked all weekend. Yesterday we had swim lessons and M did so good! She's like a different baby in the pool she's trying to leap out of my arms now instead of clinging desperately to me.
My mom came over today so I could go shopping without dragging M in the -30.
Next weekend I'm going to an rti conference. It will be the first time I'll be like away away from M.
An RTI conference? Really? My county usually has stuff like that as workshops or classes Do you get continuing ed credits for it?
We're heading out of town to my friend's 40th birthday party, I still need to pick up her gift!
But my big news which really only jessila and 3dimesdown will appreciate, is that I scored my Hamilton tickets last night!
Just going to dredge this old thread up and say WHAAAAAAAAAAT IM SO JEALOUS! I was actually just biding my time in a massive traffic cluster fuck blaring Hamilton and singing loud with the windows down... Take me with you?
