1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Excellent! I did really well the first half of the week eating smaller portions, snacking less, and working out. The stomach flu at the end of the week knocked off four pounds as of yesterday morning, though I know some of that's coming back now that I'm back to more normal eating. I did take a break from working out this weekend because we were so busy/recovering.
2. What are your goals for this week? Workout at least twice during the week and at least once next weekend again. Try to keep making healthier food choices and not go nuts now that I can eat normally again.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? H got me a new FitBit for my birthday! I'm super geeked and it's been motivating me to try and get extra steps in through the day seeing how little I move just normally. I'm going to try and take the dog for little walks at lunches to get some extra steps in during work since it's still not brutally cold.
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) Pregnancy hopefully? I hate running with a passion, I'd like to say I'll do a race, but I won't.

1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I gained a lb, so not fabulous. I'd blame my knee (not running), but it a lot more related to my willpower.
2. What are your goals for this week? Maintenance weight til my knee is better. Continue arms/core exercises.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? I hate not getting to exercise. I'm beginning to think about seeing a dr for my knee.
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) Not currently. I did a 20 mile trail race last fall. Hasn't been long to forget how much it sucked.
1. Not as good as the week before but not bad. It was stupidly icy here so I walked a lot less. I'm still down 5.5pounds so far so I'm good with it.
2. Walking more this we week and upping my water intake again. I also need to start working towards cutting the snacking when I get home from work.
3. Question: the time between when we get home and when we have supper is horrible for me. I'm not even really hungry it's just habit to snack. Anyone else? Any strategies to curb it?
4. GTKY: also hopefully prepping for another pregnancy. We are ttc but it took eighteen months last time so I'm not holding my breath.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? The stomach bug at the beginning threw me off for the rest of the week. I worked out once and had to go easier than normal. I didn't realize how much lifting is helping my back until it started hurting again.
2. What are your goals for this week? Keep up with the food tracking and workout 3 times.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? The numbers on the scale keep dropping and I noticed my face looks a tiny bit thinner. Yay! Also, my flexibility is quickly coming back now. I forgot how much better it feels to be healthy.
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) Mostly pregnancy. I figure if I can get my ish together beforehand that it'll be easier to maintain my ish during assuming I'm less sick this time.
Bluedaisy, I snack on veggies in the evening before dinner. Sweet snap peas are one of my faves. They give the crunch satisfaction that I want and are a little sweet.

1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?
Upped my water intake quite a bit, partly due to it being ridiculously warm in the building at work. Along with that, had over 11,000 steps 4 out of 5 work days. Weekends are still a struggle with both steps and water intake though.
2. What are your goals for this week?
Continue with water intake and steps, and tracking calories. Packing up a bunch of veggies to have with me for snacks as well as packing some lunches up.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
I'm thinking about getting a fitbit soon. Right now I have a Garmin one that is somewhat similar, but I would like one with a heart rate monitor.

budders- I'm always terrified of f fundraising numbers too, but I bet between your coworkers, friends, community, and is you could raise the money. I know I never say no when my friends are raising money for races/bike across America things.
Bluedaisy - I keep busy. I rarely have time to snack in the evenings because I don't have the time! As soon as we're home I'm working at getting dinner on the table.

1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I cheated again today with a beer, but otherwise my food has been fine. I need to get better about my strength training on the weekends. I do it every night during the week, but being out of town last weekend and yesterday has made it harder to fit in.
2. What are your goals for this week? Last week of the restricted eating so I'm really liking forward to next week! I've got a 10k next weekend that I want to use as my base to figure out how much time I need to cut. And I want to make sure I get some strength training in, in addition to the running.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? So this is kind of stupid, but scales are huge triggers for my ED. Growing up, my mom would weigh herself daily and base what she ate that day on her weight. Which I picked up. We don't have a scale in my house because of that. But my mom still does. We stopped by her house yesterday to pick up some things and all week I've been obsessing about sneaking into her bathroom to get on the scale. But I didn't. That's not the good part. It wasn't because I'm better than that, it's because I got preoccupied while there. The good part is later that day, when I realized it and started spinning out on how to get back to my mom's, I managed to stop myself and move on. Which is a big deal for me.
4. GTKY: A bunch! I'm running a couple new races this year, one next month I've always wanted to run, and a new half marathon that's on one of my favorite race courses. But I'm also looking forward to some of the races in the fall that I do year after year.
1. I worked out 5x last week. I am mostly using exercise videos this month vs home equipment like i was using last month. I found a bunch of good dvds i forgot i owned. I recently switched to 6 week 6 pack. I am not doing a diet at the moment.
2. H is going on a business trip the front end of the week so i will most likely be taking the first 3 days off from exercising due to extra chaos from that. My goal is to resume workouts Thursday to Saturday. My right leg near my ankle is really hurting so it will be good to give it a little rest.
3. N/A
4. No big event plans. Im not a runner and i cant see myself making a commitment to do a walk either for the time being.
Bluedaisy, snacking before dinner isn't really a huge problem for me because I'm basically starting dinner the second I get home. But DS is always apparently dying of hunger at that time, so I always try to clean and prep the veggie first for him to munch on raw veggies while I cook everything else. If the veggie isn't really a great raw option (like cauliflower or something), si throw a bag of baby carrots or celery sticks or something on the counter for him. So similar to what jessila suggested, you can have veggies, but also get a jump on dinner.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Well, I was sooooo close to doing 5 workouts this week, extenuating circumstances kept me from it, but I did get 4 in again. I did well in meeting all of my stepbet goals, though. I also tried to build up my protein intake every day & use mfp.
2. What are your goals for this week? I want to try to get those 5 workouts in. I would really like to do at least 1 morning workout. For those of you that do morning workouts, do you have any tips on how to drag my ass out of bed? The few times I've actually done it, it made such a difference on my day. I had so much more energy & didn't need two cups of coffee. I just have to do it.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? See above!
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) I am signed up for Run the Year 2017 & Amerithon, these are year long virtual trackers where you can work as a team or individually to make a mileage goal. Run the year, you try to meet 2017 miles. Amerithon you virtually travel the country & hit certain major cities. I think my team just made San Fran.
Otherwise, I'm signing up for a 10k in April. I'm nervous about this because I have yet to run a full 5k. I know I can do the distance, but I'm really going to have to work on the running aspect.

1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? It was a way more active week than I expected. I went to the gym as planned and then spent all weekend moving. I got 35,000 steps Friday and 31,000 Saturday... Primarily stairs, while carrying boxes. We ate takeout food though.
2. What are your goals for this week? Eat better, and honestly just relax a bit. I overdid it last week, and it's budders week to shine in the Fitbit challenge.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? My new house backs onto a walking trail! Really excited to take advantage of it in the spring.
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) I'm training for a half marathon in August! I'm terrified! Haha.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I lost 1 pound this past week so I'm pretty happy with that! So far I am down a total of 13 pounds since Thanksgiving!
2. What are your goals for this week? Ideally I would like to say go to the gym 3 days this week, realistically id be happy with just sitting my step goal on my fitbit every day this week. I am fighting a nasty cold and dont have any energy what so ever
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? I hate getting sick in general, but i really hate it when I've been soo good with working out and what not. I feel like it takes me back 10 steps, when I have come so far!
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) I have always said that I would sign yup to run the 5k of the Baltimore Running Festival. Now that i am halfway through my back injections and can workout without being in pain, i=I am hoping to actually do it this year!
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?
Since I haven't posted in here before, I'm going to start from the beginning. In October/November I took an at home yoga program that got me sort of back in a routine again. In December I found I wasn't sticking to anything, and I found out there was a small group of local friends who had a FB chat going with a new 30 day challenge every month. One of them added me to the group, and I did a few days of the December challenge (abs) and started this months which is a variety of excersises with a rest day every 3/4 days. I was in Hawaii for the beginning, so doubled up my days until I caught up to them. When I realized I was doing a good job of doubling my days, and randomly came across the Bikini Body Mommy challenge on Parenting, I joined them over there when they started last week.
Short form: last week I committed to two different challenges with 2 different groups of people. Week one of doing both is in the books! I also am more conscious of what I eat and how much of it I'm doing.
2. What are your goals for this week? Continue following both workout schedules, and also go to the mom and tot yoga class I attend about once every week or two. A preschool mom hosts it when she can while we wait for our older kids to be done preschool. ETA my grocery list looks MUCH healthier right now, and H is planning on doing that tomorrow when he's in the city.
3' Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
For the BBM challenge we took "before" pictures and take new ones at different intervals throughout the 90 days. We also aren't supposed to weigh ourselves between, so I had H hide the scale on me. I did look back at my picture on Saturday though (only 6 days in but I couldn't help it) and did notice where there was starting to be a slight change in my poor stomach area. Whether it was a change or hopeful thinking on my part, it was enough to keep my mindset on pushing through both challenge groups every day!
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.)
At the moment, no. But I find many of you ladies inspiring and would love to do a 5k with my kids sometime, and maybe get in the habit of making it a tradition. We shall see.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I only got to the gym once last week but I did yoga twice at home (albeit once with a toddler and it was not really productive) and also did exercises during commercial breaks on Thursday. The nice weather led to walks outside, too!
I avoided sweets mon-thurs and drank lots of water, too!
2. What are your goals for this week? 1. Get to the gym at least once 2. Do yoga at least twice 3. Avoid sweets five days a week
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? This thread was really motivating!!
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) We're doing the great strides for cystic fibrosis walk in May. It is really intimidating to ask for money, budders! We don't have a minimum amount we'd like to raise but I'd like to reach $500. We walk for my husband, so I think we can do it!
Bluedaisy you can try water or even coffee if you need flavor. I only suggest this because you said you're not really hungry. To curb cravings you could also brush your teeth.
budders could I persuade you to compete to see who can do morning workouts? That might motivate me enough.
dmoney would you be interested in joining budderssugarkissed & I on a fitbit challenge? If so, pm me your fitbit name or email & I'll add you to our challenge.

1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Terribly! Except for the scattered days I did well lol. Legit this week I was either perfect or awful, nothing in between. I made it to the gym finally! But then I drank both nights of the weekend, ate bar snacks and ordered hangover hot wings! Plus my sleep was terrible. No guilt though, and I know thats the best part.. I know now that Ive overhauled my eating habits, a couple off days here and there won't ruin me and I can get right back on track.
2. What are your goals for this week? 1. Get back in the gym 2. Restart Yoga with Adrienne series 3. Clean eating/no booze, with the exception of SIL casino bday part Friday night, because come on.. !
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? Glad to see this thread as it reminded me to clean things up after my spinout weekend
4. GTKY: Do you have any events that you are looking forward to/training for this year (races, competitions, etc.) No, but I want one!
