Medela parts with Spectra S2

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm on tapa and can't easily search.

I had a Medela PISA with DD. I liked it and it worked well for me, but I'm considering get the Spectra S2 this time around.

I've read that you can buy something that will allow you to use Medela shields and bottles with the Spectra. Does anyone have experience with this? Does it work well? I have tons of Medela bottles that I would like to be able to use again.

I pump with a spectra and use maymom parts only (similar to medela) and pump directly into Dr browns bottles

Late to this discussion but wanted to add. I've been using my medela parts with the spectra s2 as well with the adapter parts as suggested by pp. Also, if you use the spectra flanges, the avent natural bottles screw right on, so I've been pumping into those as well. I also discovered that the battery pack from my medela pisa works on the spectra so I can use that on the go.
