She would have been a S17 mom with us. Her EDD was a few days before mine. Anywho, she found out on Monday that she lost the baby. She was 8w2d. Her and her husband have been trying for over 2.5 years. It took like 6-7 rounds of egg retrievals and a FET to get this baby. So it's been really rough for her. She could definitely use some extra thoughts and prayers.

@mattsgirl2004 yes, today is the day. I'll try and update afterwards. I really hope to get a due date (right now I'm thinking around 9/20 or so) and hope to see a HB, but it still may be too early for that. Good luck on getting your results today. Turn on bitch mode if you have to. Sometimes calm, confident, but don't F with me-mode works too.
RajahMD, I am so sorry for your friend. On a positive note, one of my best friends had pretty much that exact same thing happen. She took heart in the fact that at least she now knew she could get pregnant and that the med protocol that they used could be successful. In December they did a hail mary FET with her last embryo and she got pregnant again and is currently 11 weeks.
This is Us is good every freaking week. Not as emotional as last week but still just so good.
I had heard it was supposed to "sit with you for awhile." So I told DH last night that after last week, I didn't know if I could watch it. He told me to watch it anyway. It was really good, but didn't "sit with me for awhile."
RajahMD, that is heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for her.
Looking forward to hearing good news from everyone with appointments today!
Also, in regards to symptoms going away...I'm still waiting for them to show up! I keep thinking that tomorrow when I am exactly 6 weeks, they'll all show up in full force.
Thanks guys. Yeah, it's pretty frustrating, but understandable that they were closed. I will call tomorrow morning though and hopefully get my beta.
I also plan on calling the lab and talking to whoever is in charge. It sounds like the employees there are confused on what is okay and not okay pertaining to releasing lab results. Hoping for some clarification.
That's so frustrating. I went through that with my last pregnancy and it just added to my anxiety. I hope you get some good news soon.

All good at my appointment! HB 141, measuring 9 weeks but we kept EDD as September 2nd. Plan is to continue progesterone till 12 weeks and then do cerclage at 14 weeks. Still pelvic rest for ten days because of the spotting last week, but after that should be a "normal" pregnancy, including being allowed to travel till 34 weeks. So relieved on all fronts. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers
DD lost and born 9/18/2013 at 24 weeks (Trisomy 18) DS born 6/16/2015 (at 39 weeks 6 days, after emergency cerclage at 23 weeks and 14 weeks of bed rest)

I'm blaming pregnancy brain. DD and I were out and about and the key wouldn't come out of the ignition. I eventually got it out but then couldn't get it back in. Called DH, but he didn't answer. So I turned to google. I eventually realized I still had the van in gear....oops....

Glad to hear the nice updates @mattsgirl2004 & salmon2017!
My appointment went well. Boomer (our nickname for baby) measured 6weeks and 1day. We had a heartbeat at 124bpm. It wasn't enough to pick up on the Doppler, so I'm going back for another US in two weeks. It was reassuring to see the flicker though, as well as to see there was only one in there!
RajahMD, T&Ps for your friend. That is so heartbreaking.
It's snowing today so we are having a lazy day. We also went out and played in the snow. DD and DS2 were so excited. I think we will have to go back out after nap.
I haven't been very active lately. I'm nauseous and congested and basically just hate everything. First time around I had absolutely no nausea. I was a little more tired but I wasn't miserable. It didn't get bad for me until 30 weeks when my blood pressure started being weird. This time I can't even leave the couch. I'm so tired of saltines but it's the only thing I can keep down. 7+2 and my only consolation is that this is supposed to taper off in a few weeks. Please pregnancy gods, just let my poor stomach be for a few days.

Flick, sorry this baby is being so much harder on you than your DD. Hang in there mama, we feel your pain!!
At least this time I can actually commiserate with the ladies on the BMB, last time I basically lurked because I had nothing in common symptom wise until much later. Lol
