Curious George is parenting right now. We had a rough start because DS was throwing a fit and since he has no words (at 18 months...) he gets so frustrated and I do too. We go to the pedi on Thursday and I know they'll say it's fine unless he's pushing 2 but I can't deal with the frustration tantrums.
It's so dreary and gross (again) that I may take myself and DS out to Kohls or something to look at cute baby clothes. Maybe I'll treat myself to a milkshake or something too! Yum!

So tired this morning. MH who is not usually one to get alarmed, woke me and DD us last night at 10:20 because there was a tornado warning (FL tornadoes are usually nothing) and insisted we get in the master closet. We were in there for almost 1/2 hour before he decided we were safe. I had such a hard time getting back to sleep and then I had bad dreams all night. Need all the coffee this morning!

I woke up and ran 6 miles and am planning on going to yoga in a couple hours. I need to get in a better workout rhythm. I feel like I do good the first half of the week and then it goes downhill from there.
Amazon registry reminded me that it's only 15 weeks until my due date. What? When did that happen?
I too need to get into a better rhythm working out, fortunately my work is starting a 12 fitness incentive program next week, so that should keep me going (you get entered in a drawing for prizes if you keep up with the weekly suggested time, starting at 150min/wk ending at 300min/wk).
Working on retrieving all the things we loaned out. Need to make a list of what is still MIA from our house. I'm sure it'll be found, but it'd be good to find them soon. I guess we ought to clear out the study and turn it back into a nursery as well. Not sure where the file cabinets and desk are going to go... Oi...
We seem to all be dealing with a lot of the same around here. I also had trouble sleeping, and DD had a major meltdown right before bedtime last night and took forever to fall asleep. She was in a super good mood this morning though at least.
I feel bad about it, but I was a little jeleous of H yesterday because DD wanted nothing to do with me and was a total daddy's girl all day. On the other hand when it's the opposite, I wish she would give me 5 minutes peace and let H help her with things...

Morning everyone! I'll jump on the crappy sleep bandwagon but not because I can't sleep but because I'm in excruciating pain every time I need to switch sides so my sleep is super disrupted. I'm seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist tomorrow so I'm looking forward to finding out if she really thinks it's SPD and what I can then do about it.
We toured a daycare this morning that's affiliated with DW's work. We get half off the tuition but it's still pretty pricy. I'm looking forward to touring more so I have something to compare it to.

rosesquared, I love ramen noodles! I try not to eat them too often because they have so much sodium but I think they're pretty tasty (probably because of the sodium!)
My will power to go to Kohls is gone. It's raining and I don't feel like putting on real pants. I can't wait for warm weather so DS can burn his energy in the yard.
I still plan on asking H to bring me home a milkshake, because I'm not willing to give that up!

Put me in the can't sleep crowd. And I swear DH's snoring has gotten horrible. I want to sleep in another room!! I'm having a bit of a crazy day. The weather here has been horrid, lots of rain and flooding which So Cal can't handle, so it's been a pain to make the commute to work. But it's finals week which means I don't have to teach, just do a lot of correcting and grading!

One of my blueberry grab bags came! IMO these are more boyish than neutral, but I still like them. I have the elephant simplex OS for DS so now new baby and him can match now. My other grab bag should come in the next couple days. I'm hoping for some different prints and not more of the same, but I'm not too picky.

I'm having another one of those days where every single thing I eat is causing my stomach to feel like it's on fire. I guess it's time to start taking Nexium again. I just want to go home, drink a big glass of milk and go to bed.
Also sleeping like crap. Sorry for everyone else suffering!
I'm going to head to the gym in a half hour or so. My shoulders are killing me, but I'm just going to ignore them and do some cardio. Then H and I are going to the movies so I'll reward myself with popcorn.
rosesquared, good luck! I saw pelvic floor therapist years ago and it changed my life (that sounds dramatic, but [tmi] sex was so painful for me before going that I basically didn't have it).

sleepymonkey ugh, I'm right there with you. It's not too terrible, but I had some strawberries with my lunch and my stomach will not be quiet now and is super gassy. I'm glad I don't need to be in public right now.

icedtea great job in making it to the gym! What movie are you going to see? My fingers are super crossed the PT helps with this pain because it's starting to really weigh on me. Glad it was so helpful for you!

Bad insomnia lately. I need to find a new sleep aid because I'm pretty sure I have a tolerance for Benadryl now. Sigh
Have you tried Unisom?
I don't take it often but it knocks me out quickly!
Yeah, didn't work either. Sigh.
The one downside to my MWs is they don't like writing prescriptions even if you need it. Sigh. I had to fight for zofran earlier in my pregnancy when my old OB gave it out the moment I complained about not being able to hold anything down
That's all really frustrating. Remembering the list of meds that are 'ok' per my doc bendryl and unisom are the ones on top for sleep aids. And of course now I can't find the sheet with all the ok meds on it...gah
