Hello! We've been brainstorming spring break getaway ideas. I wanna go somewhere. Take advantage of the week DS has off of school. Tricky part is not go to a place that is likely to be packed with crazy college kids. Lol so idk, I've been all over the place with locations, I'm getting a headache 😲
My body is still recovering from the women's march and the 30 hour round trip bus ride. It was an incredible experience though and I'm looking into local social/political organizations to continue the momentum.
I did arrive home yesterday to find that DD had a fever, so she's missing school today and trying to rest.

Awesome @threegiraffes! (Not that your body hurts of course, but that you made that trip!). I have been near tears all weekend looking at pics of the marches.
Short work week for me - we leave for Disney in Thursday!
I'm excited but I'm the world's worst traveller so I'm stressing about the plane ride.

Wooohoo! helenahhandbasket I understand the feeling, I get travel anxiety no matter what our mode is, it's annoying but I usuay ease up once we're there. Hope you have fun!

DS brought home another report card. Can't believe we're practically more than halfway through the school year. They also had conferences but only teacher requested ones. We didn't get one. Which is good. It's a weird feeling being in a good spot with him, it's almost unbelievable. Lol I think it's also knowing he's in a class with a couple of 6yo redshirted kids & he's really holding his own ya know. Not too shabby.
