It's not really MOTN here but I'll join in
I went to Buy Buy Baby today. They had nothing I was looking for and I still spent over $150. No more window shopping for me. But W now has some cute jammies and DS1 has a new Batman shirt sooooo someone won.

Up to pump and back to sleep in a few. We got her to nap the mamaroo today and she is sleeping there now. I'm hoping tomorrow we can try to get E to sleep in her crib.

Up and pumping as well. I've seen no improvement in supply and am actually ok with it. We'll see what the LC says tomorrow but, to be honest, I am ready to accept low supply issues and move on with formula.

We have a weight check next week and I'm right there with you. I've decided to take it one day at a time but I'm okay with whatever I have to do.

Same. I just want to move on with life and focus on keeping my boys happy and healthy however I have to do it.
I'm just off to bed and hoping to get a couple hours sleep before first wake up. Hope everyone has a good night.
heybulldog56 and meeggaannww, you've both tried so hard to make this work. I still hope it does, but I'm pleased you're at peace with switching to formula if that's where you go in future.
I wake up sweaty too, so annoying. weeklyplanner hope it's nothing. A little bleeding can be normal, I had some, you can put a pad there to soak it up. Not sure about the yellow oozing though, hope it's not an infection and you get an answer soon.
Well, I slept for an hour before LO's earliest wake up to date. And I have indigestion from the icecream I ate before bed.
weeklyplanner, I hope is nothing to worry about but best to get checked out if needed.
With DS1 the night swests were terrible and I'd wake up soaked every night for months. I'm thankful they're not nearly as bad this time around but sending commiserations.
B tanked up before bed by eating basically every 1-1.5hrs. Then overnight he gave me two 3.5hr stretches. I feel a bit guilty since we're trying to get his weight up and I should have thought about waking him...

So my OB office never called me last night but the bleeding has stopped. We managed to get a couple hours of sleep. I guess I need to call them if I don't hear from anyone by noon. I don't get it. If this was even remotely a common thing (as I've read online), why wouldn't they tell me?
Of course this all happened during the time the baby gave us a 3.5 hour stretch. Sooooooooo tired.
Well R finally slept at 5 am, a 2 hour stretch but with a 20 minute wake up in the middle. That is the only sleep he had all night. I'm exhausted and incredibly frustrated because I know he can do better and that he knows how to sleep.

I have to swaddle N super tight to get her to sleep at night. During the day I think she could sleep naked and upside down but at night she is fussier.
She went down around midnight and gave me 3.5 hours of sleep. I tried giving her one side just now and she woke up, hoping the double dose is good for another 2.5-3 hours.

Another fan of the tight swaddle. Both DS and now DD seemed to fight the swaddle at first, but it helps them calm down and sleep. Without it, arms are just waving at me from the bassinet all night while she looks confused.

Thanks so much for all your thoughts during my MOTN freak out.
OB says it sounds normal. My nerves are shot from worrying last night. DH is annoyed that in the 15 pages of discharge papers they couldn't have said "some bleeding at the incision sight is normal."
Lots of rest today and the rest of the week and I think a small glass of wine tonight. I was feeling so good PP this time and this bleeding triggered some anxiety.

Don't feel guilty. Hopefully the rest was good for you both!
weeklyplanner I'm one day ahead of you and mine is oozing slightly still too. In the hospital (I left Sunday) it was bleeding a tad too. They weren't concerned as long as it long as it doesn't smell funny or is pus-like. Take it easy today!
