Shout out to @emilie818 for helping me out last week... I have returned back to work from illness and had a formal teaching observation Monday that was causing a freak out and all the panic attacks.. then it didn't go well so I found myself in a pit of self-pity and despair surround by my friends Malbec and organic chocolate... needless to say I do need to post in the thread this week!

So this week try to really take time to focus on how to achieve your goals and think about if you really are setting yourself SMART goals. If you are too lazy to read and are a podcaster I really suggest this episode from Team Nutrition Genious. They are young, spritely but both registered RDs who know their stuff.. this episode specifically focuses on setting goals and realistic expectations. For the more nerdtastic of you out there you can check out this article on the psychology of change and how it is a feedback cycle. If your doing some cleaning around the house this holiday pop on these TED Talks that will change your life.
And for those who are new to this thread, here's what it's all about:
What would you like to change in your life and what are you going to do about it?
1) Physically - Anything from yoga, clean eating, running a marathon, getting enough sleep... it can seem like a lot to manage all at once but I swear its possible one step at a time.
2) Mentally - What does spirituality and inner peace mean to you...how can you achieve it?
3) Organizationally - Money, student loans, budget, piles of random shit around the house that don't have a home... how are you going to make it better
