My mom took me to Michaels to get prints for baby's room framed. We then stopped at Jimmy John's. I am still pretty irritated and in a bad mood thanks to those effers in HR. I also feel conflicted about what LC said. I think I had set myself up to hear the worst and was ready to accept formula. I guess I was hoping for an excuse to give up. I'm still going to take it day by day with BFing but I do not feel as emotional about keeping it up as I did before. So many emotions, ugh!
Negative: just received notice that will we not have water tomorrow due to water main replacement.
I think I'll just go to the inlaws. Do not want to deal with 8 hours of pregnancy pee sitting in my toilet since I pee every ten minutes at this point.
Fill up a couple buckets with water tonight. You can use those to flush the toilet in emergency situations.

Smart. I've already filled up all of our water bottles and camping jugs. I guess it's better that it's happening now as opposed to when there's a newborn and toddler here.
We came home today! DS is doing so much better. He still needs 14 more days of antibiotics, but at least they are oral and his IV was taken out. His fever has been gone since Saturday. What a scare. I am so thankful he is ok.

heybulldog56 that freakin sucks about HR. Glad they mysteriously sorted it out, but sorry you had to go through all of that!! My "leave specialist" told me that she hadn't received any of my paperwork from my doctor, so they faxed it again and I emailed it to her. Mysteriously my leave was approved within 5 minutes. Seriously? And on the feeding emotions. You don't need a reason to switch to formula other than you are ready. Just take it day by day like you said and if you are ready to switch, then make the switch. My 3 year old is smart, happy, and healthy, and had was EFF from day 1. DS has now been EFF from day one and is doing great as well!! If you have any questions please ask!
tex, DS1 HATES amoxicillin but the past couple of ear infections we've used the Mary Poppins technique. He gets a teaspoon of icecream after every dose. Works like a charm and by day 4 or 5 he usually forgets to ask for the icecream!
heybulldog56, you don't need an excuse to stop BFing. Just because it might be working out in terms of supply doesn't mean it's working out for you. Like ithers have said, take it onr day at a time. Do what you need to do to be happy and healthy though.

TMI, sorry.
My ladybits are very sore. I am 11 days PP. Today, I have been less active than the past week, I'd say. Fewer chores. However, I lifted my toddler twice to change, and a couple other times for hugs and snuggles. My bleeding has increased this evening, and I'm just... sore.
And I'm the Day Care taxi tomorrow, which means getting the toddler in and out of her car seat 4 times. Ugh.
(this of course, all coming from someone who lifts heavy weights for fun...)

@joybaby5, I think when we leave the house in the morning and get home in the evening, I'll make DH get her in/out of seat. And have her climb when we arrive at and leave DC. She just dawdles and it's annoying! But yes, hopefully I can limit my lifting.
