Yesterday at nap time kind of out of nowhere I started looking up shelving units and storage for the playroom and our bedroom.
It suddenly hit me, why am I looking up cube units when we have a perfectly fine but non functioning old TV stand just taking up space in that room? (We were considering turning it into a kitchen which is why we kept it, but I realized yesterday how much more I need the storage) So the kids and I grabbed our screwdrivers, went to work, and. Now we don't have toys lined up along every wall, in the center of the room, and it's a rather spacious functioning playroom!
Clutter from the top pic reorganized into shelves finally! Toys don't need to sit in the middle of the room, and the bucket shelves aren't so full anymore!
It's maybe not making Playroom Magazine but we love it, and I'll probably start slowly collecting some wall decor now that we have a better idea what the room can be set up like!
This also got my brain moving for our bedroom, which is the true dumping grounds of our house. I threw a bunch of stuff away, have a couple storage/shelving units on the way, and that will be my next project over the next week.
HAPPY! And when complete it will have cost me about $100 total to reorganize both rooms!
As for us, DS officially has RSV. His doctor called last night as we were getting ready for bed and confirmed the test came back positive. So luckily today was his day with MIL anyway. He was sleeping when I left this morning, but she's since told me he's eating, and his temp was only 99.9 without any Motrin since bedtime last night, which is an improvement from yesterday. She also said that despite clearly being congested, he's breathing fine, so that's good. Otherwise, just catching up at work.

Looks great tiffbot! Im in a cleaning/organizing and decluttering/throw shit away mood this week! Jazzy is home sicky and so sleepy, and I dont go into work til 1 today.. just tidying one space at a time over the last few hours and already my house feels much happier!
As for us, it appeared that M's slight limp went away over the weekend, but back again since last night. There's no swelling, bruising, and doesn't hurt to the touch. Hes also been generally happy, teething aside. I left the doctor a message this morning and waiting on her call back. Anyone have this happen with their LOs?
