Absolutely becole. Apparently there are a slew of other bullshit things that take priority though - like building a wall on the border of Mexico or banning abortion (so we can have even more parents with children who can't afford to take off work? COOL!).
I took an hour and a half nap on the couch this morning. I had the weirdest twilight sleep dreams...I don't really feel like it was all that restful. And I could have slept for like 2816191 more hours.
Now I'm trying to be as productive as possible the rest of the day so it's not a waste that my kids are at daycare and I'm home. I forgot that my parents are coming tomorrow for the weekend, so I suppose that's lighting a fire under me. I won't get much done with the boys both home tomorrow.
Sleepers for daycare because they are easier. Granted my kids are at a home daycare. If they were at a center, I'd probably be more likely to dress them up.
As for baby socks, I LOVE the Nike socks. They are the only ones that stayed on DS' feet. Also, DD lives in zutano booties. Legit doesn't ever wear socks, just the booties and they never fall off.
Ooh question for everyone: how often do you put baby in outfits during the day vs sleepers/footsie pj things?
If we don't go anywhere, she (and the rest of us) stay in jammies all day. Then before bed I put clean ones on her. Same if we just run out to breakfast or grocery shopping. I just leave her in her warm jammies. If we go to a party or someone's house for something (other than my parents house) she will wear regular clothes.
DD and I had binky wars from 4:30-5:15 when my alarm went off this morning. She wasn't going back to sleep so I figured I would be a nice wife and change and dress her so if she went back to sleep after her bottle DH could sleep in a little bit later. Well she was SOAKING wet. I tried a new cloth diaper and it failed me for over nights. No wonder she didn't want to sleep. Damn it, I had just washed her blanket and RnP pad. Got her a bottle, put her back in bed with DH and left for work. I get a text that she never went back to sleep and we need to change our sheets because after her bottle she threw up on DH, his pillow and our bed. Worst yet from what I'm told. She's not one to spit up and its been happening a lot this week so I'm not sure what's up. Then my niece tightened all the car seat straps while she was playing with it yesterday and DH calls me flipping out because he has to leaverightnow! and he cant get the straps lose enough. I felt a little bit of satisfaction because he blew me off when I tried to show him how to loosen them before. But he was all flustered and the baby was clingy this morning so she was screaming while he was trying to figure it out so he was yelling at me, blah blah, blah. Happy effing birthday to me. At least he's bringing me all the seafood and wine for dinner tonight. Of and an ice cream cake before my diet starts Monday.

Happy birthday! Sorry your H is being a poopy head

@snuff9861. I keep dragging my feet on a sound machine because I don't want my kids to rely on it. But I only here magical things about them. I'm getting desperate with number 3 and might just give it a try. Can't be worse than breaking a paci or blanket chewing habit.

iwantbacon, I prefer sleepers at night and outfits during the days. I hate the extra snaps all the sleepers we got as presents are. I'd rather deal with the pants and socks (I love baby socks). My mom, who is watching him primarily now, like sleepers better so I've given up. But daycare = oufits when he starts in Feb.
becole Damn straight on sick leave and real maternity leave. Bah.
jillian Happy birthday! Sorry your morning was just a crapfest, hope your DH makes up for it big time.
Team White Noise Machine over here. I used to use a fan for DS1, which was problematic because it can't be blowing on him or it triggers his asthma. While pregnant with DS2 I was researching and came across the Dohm White Noise Machine. Best investment ever. You can adjust the volume and the deepness (? It's hard to explain) of the white noise and it doesn't actually move air, so no risk of flaring asthma. And it's small, so easily portable. I've been meaning to buy one to replace the fan H and I use.
My inlaws called about an hour ago and want to stop by because they're in the area. Between this unexpected visit and forgetting my parents were coming (but they're not sure when) and my sister texting to be like "let me know what's going on so I can come out", I'm just over here like, "If y'all could just let me know when I have to put real pants on, that'd be great." 😐

I live and die by my sound machines. Sound machines 4 lyfe.
My oldest has a sleep sheep. He loves that thing and still uses it (it cuts off after 45 min).
DS2 has one that runs all night. He is my VERY light sleeper. He will not sleep without one.
DD has the same one we have in DS2's room. I figure they've worked so well with the boys, why not? All the kids' rooms are right next to each other and I've worried about the boys waking up the baby or the baby waking up the boys. Sound machines give everyone the maximum amount of rest.
ETA: This is the sound machine my 2 youngest have.

+1 for best white noise machine. DS uses it and it's literally the best. So worth the money.

We have the dohm ones too. In every kid room and take them with us whenever we sleep anywhere else haha. They're awesome!
becole the formula nipple worked!! Well she latched on and drank .25oz, which is much more than she's ever done.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Oh I'm so happy for you! What a relief! There's hope. My little is doing better each day so I hope yours will too. Did you poke the hole a little bigger for her? You don't have to but my guy preferred the faster flow.

We got some with just the little hole and some cross cut. She liked the cross cut which doesn't surprise me since I have a strong letdown and she typically eats in under 5 minutes.
