Here's my confession--I really want to go to Florida to visit fam while on mat leave. Ideally we would go as a family, but H can't take the time off right now. I have absolutely no interest in taking 2 kids on a plane by myself. So I'm probably going to just go with C and leave behind N and MH. I feel slightly bad about not taking N but she is just too much all the time. This morning she is whining/crying about everything, H finally says "why can't she just be good?!" Dude I have no idea, sigh.
I'm probably going to jinx myself by writing this here...but the baby only woke up once last night at 230!! Actual sleep was had by me! I'm sure it was a one time thing but I'll take it.

vlagroupie I'm not sure which airport you'd be flying into but Frontier has $25 flights to Orlando and Tampa now. There's probably other airports too. Could you leave N and just take the baby?

It'll be back and forth but I bet in another month you'll be seeing that much more often!
This baby is all messed up from daycare. Last night he went to sleep at 6pm. I'm hoping I can get him back to 8:30 when he gets used to daycare. I don't really understand because we've been sleeping in late and he gets a good nap and home and has been sleeping over an hour at a time at school.

This is exactly what I'm thinking of doing. I'd fly in to Orlando-I could probably fly there for as little as $98 rt--no brainer.

I just realized those deals ended yesterday, ugh. I wish I would have known you were wanting to go, I would have told you to book something
Putting this out there for the preggos...just used my spectra pump for the first time this morning. Highly recommend. I got the s2 bc free through insurance. The s1 has the battery pack and would have been $98 oop. I kinda wish I had just got it so I had the option. I also ordered some adapters so I could use my medela bottles with it.

I praying we don't loose the free pumps this year ---
becole, is it possible for it to be cut mid year or would it start next year with any Trump changes

vlagroupie I say just take baby. Your H could try to do a special outing with N on one of the days that your gone. Could be an opportunity to do something that would be too hard to do with baby. Like a movie at the movie theater could be fun and hopefully not too high stress.
vlagroupie, definitely get your vacation in with the baby. If you take N it also doubles the price of the flight since she'll need her own seat. Your H and N can have some special daddy-daughter bonding time.
I'm really happy with it. Just to the left of it is the door to the house, and you walk in to the living room/kitchen. There's no closet, no place for shoes. Just room for 2 command hooks I put on the wall for coats. It's driving me nuts having our shoes all over the place. I'm going to buy an indoor/outdoor rug to put down right there and try to keep it somewhat clean so we can take our shoes/coats off in the garage before we go in. It's not really ideal when it's cold like this, but we'll deal.
ETA I'm also irrationally excited to buy storage baskets for some of those shelves, and in our closet.
I was hoping today would calm down workwise. But, no. One of my coworkers broke her computer yesterday, like dropped it and scattered it, so it had to be sent in for repairs. I'm covering most of her needs... you know, in addition to my work and the work of the girl on maternity leave. Ugh. At least it will only be for a couple days. I handle stress pretty well expect in times like this where there is so much to do I don't know where to start, then I just kinda shut down.
Two weeks till relief arrives. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

JoBub Costco had some rugs for 13-15. Nothing super fancy but they are a good size and easy to clean. I bought some to put by our exterior doors in the kitchen so the dogs/H aren't tracking water and mud everywhere.
