It's finally Saturday! I've been awake since 3am but whatever..coffee. What are we doing today guys? Also talk to me about 2 year molars. Anyone getting them yet? Is it too early? Does it turn your child in to the spawn of Satan? (Please say yes please say yes)

Pretty sure this is why J has been waking up from 1-4 every night. Good luck over there...
We were supposed to go to brunch with some friends but they had to cancel because their car broke down or something. Probably going to target today and going out for adult milkshakes and maybe a movie tonight!!

michyme123 it's been like this for almost 2 weeks straight at this point. She's up at 11pm, 3am, 5am and 6am. I've given in and accepted this is my life. Also now that you mention it she's had some serious poops lately and very rashy which isn't the norm for her.
ETA: I'd be ok if it was just a whiney wake up but she is literally screaming like a banshee and throwing herself around where I'm afraid she's going to hurt herself and it takes me about 20-30 mins just to calm her down. That's the hard part because I'm like WTF is happening right now.

carrots aww poor W! He was probably like umm hello the light people! I'm impressed he will still wear a sleep sack. With C you can't put anything on her including a blanket and sometimes pants for sleeping.
Currently cutting all 4 eye teeth so we were up from 2-3, up for the day at 6, and basically whining or crying the whole time. Once H is out of the shower, I'm retreating to our room for a break. Our only plans today are for our BFFs to come over this evening and stay the night.
DD has all her 2 year molars, and I also remember DS getting his (right after DD was born) it was awful both times. Poor kiddos. Hope you get some sleep soon.
Did some rearranging and fixing up in our bedroom today, just waiting for one more shelving unit and I'll be done the big stuff in there (for now haha). Though we will have one very bare wall when it's all over that I'll have to find some art or something for.
We are all going to a 2 year old birthday party this afternoon at a friend's farm that they just moved to, excited to see the new place and it's even nice enough to let the kiddos play outside!

I had to resort to driving around for a half an hour tonight to get J to go to sleep. He cannot possibly be my child if he hates sleeping this much. I thought for sure he'd pass out early since he refused to nap as well.
H has been casually mentioning that our spending habits suck lately. Like, for the past year and a half. I've been mentioning to him that maybe we should look into less expensive car insurance, among other things. Right now, for whatever reason, we have 2 separate policies for cars, plus one for renters insurance. H finally looked up some quotes, and admitted that I was right. Same coverage, and just by using one of several comparable quotes we can save over $1,000 a year. I reaaalllly had to bite my tongue and not say "I told you so" lol
Awake early again this weekend while everyone else is sound asleep. We went to a 4 year old birthday party at an indoor bounce house place last night and they had enough geared to younger kids that LO really loved it. Nothing unusual planned for the day today so hopefully it is a relaxing one.

Battling insomnia again. Newspaper delivery person scared the crap out of me when they were out 3 hours ago.
Finally starting to feel tired, so I'd better go pretend to sleep before J wakes up. We are meeting my parents for brunch in 4 hours, so I'd better get a couple hours nap in so I don't fall asleep in my food.

Well yesterday was pretty shittastic. She tantrums BAD all day and then didn't get a real nap because we were at a bday party. I literally cried and told my husband I'm a bad mom because I just want to shake her and be like "stop screaming!!" I think her and the universe knew something had to give because we fed her early, she went to bed at 6:30pm (usual bedtime is 7:45) and she only woke once at 10:00. I got her to settle back down fairly quickly and she slept the whole night! So woke up chattering to her animals in a great mood. I even got to have morning sex. Today is a good day ya'll and I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts!
Pretty sure we're teething, too. LO won't give up her paci and is trying to eat all the time. The therapists the other day suggested she may have an oral fixation and that's why she constantly wants snacks and said we should have set snack times for her, so it's been a tantrum-filled weekend.
Had DHs coworkers over for brunch yesterday and then maybe be over for Cards Against Humanity last night. Today my parents are supposed to be visiting. They've bought lo a ride on tractor... Oh joy.
Guys, my kid doesn't freak out when I have to wash his hair anymore!! Thank you swim lessons!! Before it didn't matter if I was just wetting his hair or actually rinsing she shampoo out it was a full blown meltdown- crawling out of the tub ordeal.
Finishing up bath, then lung and a nap for C. Hopefully I can use my Shutterfly coupons and get our calendar made while he naps (and a shower for me.) Tonight is dinner at the in-laws with DHs cousin, wife and kids. Not looking forward to it at all. (Neither DH or I really care for his cousins wife.)

Ffsc: my parents offered to take J to their house for the afternoon while we were at brunch. I had already been planning on sending him with them. Ffsc#2: no clean underwear this morning means I'm currently wearing swimsuit bottoms under my jeans.

Full on cleaning mode today...tackling J's room while he is at my parents house. Good news: I found a missing sippy. Bad news: it's my turn to wash them.

Need help phrasing...
How do I tell my H to get off his fricking computer and clean something without sounding too bitchy? Or better yet, drop off the mountain of donations I put in his car while he showered before he left earlier that he couldn't bother to drop off while he was out?

"Hey, it would really mean a lot to me if you could do (insert task here)." H always gives into that one as do I.

Tried it, doesn't work on my H.
At this point I think he may need to be punched in the throat.

Does anyone use the Munchkin diaper pail? Ours broke and we won't be replacing it, but we have 7 extra bags. I'm happy to send them out if someone can use them.
