So I was doing last night's challenge and my sister started talking about diastisis recti. She asked if I had one and I was like, "?" She felt my belly (awkward) and said I have one. I was checking tonight and don't really get what I'm supposed to be feeling. Now I'm freaking out (ok, I'm at like a 3 over it) that I've been doing this ab challenge and making things worse for my mom pooch. Can anyone weigh in on this? I think @kitchen mentioned you have one? Google is telling me basically everything in this challenge is a no-no.

Also britta it's relatively easy to feel how separated yours is. Lay on your back with both knees bent up and crunch. Start below your ribs and feel towards your belly button until you feel the ridges. Then see how far apart they are using fingers. I think greater than two fingers or 2.5 is supposed to need work.

I did this! Everything just feels...soft? Idk.
Hmmm. So either you have no separation or you aren't spreading your fingers out wide enough. That would be my guess.

I did it again. I think at the widest point it feels like maybe 2 finger widths apart near my bellybutton.
That's exactly what I have as well. I'm kind of on the fence about doing ab exercises but I haven't noticed any worsening while doing this challenge. I do someday intend to do some DR rehab. Bikini body mommy has a DR series that she offers to her subscribers. I'm thinking of trying that if I decide to bite the bullet and pay to subscribe.
