I would say sorry for the TMI but, lets face it, I think we're all beyond that point now 😆
Anyway, I know discharge is common during pregnancy and I've had my fair share of it already. This morning I had, like, a huge glob of it, and it was tinged with blood. Is this normal?

I premise my answer noting that I'm on progesterone, so I've constantly got it. However, I've been told that it's normal and changes throughout the stages of pregnancy....

I've had a big glob a while ago. Granted I am on prometrium so it might be different. However, I went and read online after that, and it said that mucus is normal.
I have constant discharge. It's so annoying but Dr says its fine. But not blood tinged. I wonder if the progesterone is the cause? Or are you weaning your dose? I'm not sure.
It seems like it was a one-time thing. I did have some slight cramping later on and a spike in nausea so I'm thinking baby may have done a ton of growing today. I'll mention it at my next appt in a week.
Are you on progesterone suppositories? I have constant discharge from them and at one point I hit my cervix with the applicator and had a little bloody discharge that freaked me out but my doctor said it's common with progesterone suppositories.
Edit: nvm just saw that you're not on progesterone.

Did you recently have sex or a BM? Both can irritate the cervix. Infections can also be a culprit.
Since this is your first instance of spotting and you are not on progesterone sups, I would give your OB a call tomorrow just to see if they want you in sooner.

I have constant discharge and sometimes it's more like stringy mucus, but I had that with my pregnancy with my DS as well in 2014 and all was well. I had one instance of blood-tinged discharge around 6 weeks with this pregnancy and nothing bad seemed to happen, but like someone else mentioned, I would probably call the ob tomorrow just to check.
I have noticed more than usual but also had it with my first and it was nothing of concern, just chalking it up to another lovely pregnancy symptom 😛
Ah sorry! I think I got confused with M2Ms comment of the progesterone. I'm glad it was a one time thing but it wouldn't hurt to tell your OB. Do you have an appt coming up soon?

I have one next Monday so I'll ask then. I had a little bit more this morning so I may just call anyway and see what they say.
