PAL May '17 Siggy Challenge: Picnics - Feminist Picnic
Two MM/C 1/09/12 & MM/C 4/26/12 BFP#3 - Rainbow #1 born 5/11/13 via unplanned C-section Two CP 11/23/15 & 5/13/16 BFP#6 - Rainbow #2 born 2/10/17 via planned C-section
I have also been stalking January and was disappointed to see the birth stories were on a private board! But I guess that's the point.
Good luck with the blood work shellbell - are they thinking you have pre-e?
I thought I had an OB appointment today but it's tomorrow. Boo. DS was sent home from daycare with a fever so now I'm on the sofa watching snapped while he naps. I may order Thai food for lunch...

Well, my hope for it being a quiet week were smashed. Got so many complaining employees that are just being petty. We are short staffed and trying to make due, but it's putting them out even though their responsibilities are unchanged. The only one doing more stuff is my administrator. BLERGH! I hate that crap!

Well, I put the PnP together! And then realized it wouldn't fit through the doorway of my office where I put it together. Sooooo I've assembled it twice. Now I'm a pro. Ugh.

We just got our half cow from the butcher, and I'm now drooling at the thought of all the steak that's in our freezer. If only it wasn't windy and cold - I'd be asking for steak for dinner!

H will grill in negative degree weather. He did that last winter with charcoal. I was like "Um, don't you think it's a little too cold to grill" and he was all "NEVER!" and then he came in freezing with grilled stakes and said "Never again". Quite the change of tune! But now we have gas and it's much faster so he'll run outside and grill if it's not too bad. Someday I will get half a cow. And a pig. Someday.

Does your grill master not have a warm coat?
I think he'd do it if it wasn't windy - our grill doesn't handle wind well. Although... he could maybe grill in the shed...

staz, I definitely want a pig too! I'm not sure if we're going to be able to this spring, but we've been thinking about it. I would love a freezer full of bacon and sausage 😊

First day of DH's vacation to use up his leave days before parental, and he's golfing. It's -25C back home. The weather here is something to get used to!
I've been having menstrual type cramping last night and this morning with brown tinged mucous. I just attribute it to washing walls yesterday. I'd like this baby to be early but since my others were late and right in time, I'm not sure I'd believe early signs if they did happen. I'm uncomfortable for sure but not anxious for a baby yet.
TMI random. Speaking of mucous, has anybody else turned into a goo factory? I go through like 2 liners a day and often make extra trips to the bathroom just to freshen up. With my girls I was dry all the time and DH and I needed lube for sex, not this time!

My BP was a bit high again today at my appointment. So Dr sent me to labor and delivery for labs and a nst. Just sitting here kicked back in the bed listening to baby's heart now. I'm only 36 weeks and my Dr was very specific that I won't be delivering today, but depending on the land and what my blood pressure continues to do they may induce around 38 weeks. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I would prefer to go into labor on my own, or if I have to be induced I would rather me at least 41 weeks. I'm just not really into being induced early, I feel like if your body isn't ready everything will be harder and a higher chance of c-section. But I'll do whatever the Dr says. We'll see.
littleredfish to answer your TMI, I feel the same here too. I'm finding it quite annoying.
Working from home this week, and it's so much better than dragging myself to the office! Been having lots of muscle pain, back pain, menstrual type cramps, but nothing concrete is happening. OB appt tomorrow afternoon.

Lol yes!!! About the private birth posts. I have been following and LT'ing shamelessly for a month and then the babies come and the stories going in to hiding haha. I mean I do understand wanting privacy, but I'm still sad 😕
Hurray for progress!! My OB says I'm 3cm, 50% effaced and at minus 2 station, so I am thrilled. All these stupid prodromal labor contractions are doing something. Definitely makes it a bit more tolerable to be uncomfortable during those stretches.
Little lady barely passed her nst, though, which feels worrisome. OB says she's just a very chill baby with a low end normal heart rate. I'm going to do my best to try not to overthink that.
littleredfish, yes to the mucus overload lately. So gross.
shawnabm1320 We just got half a cow this winter. We were going to get half a pig, too, but all the farmer had left were huge pigs. Not a problem except that the half cow (plus a few hams, a few turkeys, and a bit of chicken) took up our entire freezer. We may need to get another freezer at this rate.
oldbaylover1024 My mom and I did that with a crib. We had to sit in the hallway for a while because we were laughing too hard to move the crib back out where we could disassemble it.

DS has demanded multiple walks today. Maybe he's trying to get things going so his brother can come sooner rather than later. Either way I am now tired. But it is a beautiful day here. High 60°s and sunny!

By the end of the day I could cry out in discomfort. I literally cannot even sit because I either can't breathe or the pressure in my abdomen is unbearable. Oh and I get to be up and work all night....F. M. L.
