How old is baby? Almost 11 months, omg where did the time go!
How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD, 6-8 times in 24 hrs probably, solids 3x
How are nights? Pretty good. 1 overnight feeding and 1-2 wake ups, last night she woke up at 10, and H got her back down and then she didn't wake up to nurse until 4:30! It was amazing! I am super hoping she drops the overnight feeding on her own in the next month, or at least seems more ready to be night weaned.
How is pumping/nursing going? Great, no pumping here
Q/rants/cute stories
GTKY: it's almost February! Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Doing anything this year? We usually (and by that I mean I) make a fancy dinner here and then we would generally go out another night, I don't like the "special" valentines menus places do, if I'm gonna go to a fancy restaurant I want there real menu not some limited version. But we won't go out this year, because no one is here to watch LO. We have left after bedtime only with grandparents so far and I don't think I would do it with anyone else yet, generally she doesn't get up but if she does she just screams until I get home and I wouldn't want to put that on a babysitter...
Nights are ok. We moved this past week so she seems to be going through a bit of an adjustment period.
Nursing is going well!
Rant: DD used to be good about taking bottles whenever she needed to (I SAH). She stayed with my mom for the day while we moved last week and refused all bottles, fresh and frozen milk. Now, I'm panicked because I have an overnight trip in 3 weeks and a 3 night trip in early March. Back to bottle boot camp I go I guess?! Any tips?
GTKY: we like to go to dinner or cook a nice meal together.

DS is 7 months. We NOD and he has about 16 oz while at daycare. He eats solids twice a day.
Nights are iffy. He's always up around 3 and 6. Sometimes 1 if we are unlucky.
Honestly I'm kind of over pumping and nursing but want to make it to a year so I keep pushing through. We just bought a deep freeze too as I have a big freezer stash and want it to last longer.

westiemom have you tried a cup? DD never took a bottle but will take bm out of a weighted straw cup like a champ. Even cold. Maybe just skip the bottles altogether.
How old is baby? She'll be 11 months on Friday.
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing 7-8 times a day. Solids 3 times a day plus a small snack.
How are nights? Amazing! She hasn't nursed overnight in a week and a half.
How is pumping/nursing going? I'm ready to be done pumping but she gets a little milk every night in a cup and I donate the rest. I've got 7 freezer bags left and when those are used I'm done. It takes a couple of days to get enough to freeze.

GTKY: it's almost February! Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Doing anything this year? DH usually has to work so his bartenders can have the night off (he's a restaurant/bar manager at a hotel) so we don't do anything. And I'm the least sentimental person on the planet.

Thanks for the idea! She likes water through a cup so I'll push that and see how it goes!

How often are you nursing? Solids? He NOD, but I would say 8-10x during the day and 2x MOTN. He eats solids twice a day, about 4 oz of purees total.
How are nights? A lot better than they use to be. He goes down at 7pm, and is up 1-2x before waking up for the day around 6:30.
How is pumping/nursing going? Pumping isn't going well still. I'm pumping 4x a day and maybe getting 8oz if that. I'm blowing through my freezer stash.
Q/rants/cute stories: B loves to stick his hand up through the crook of my elbow when he's nursing and "wave". It's adorable. He's finally starting to love the teething necklace while nursing too!
GTKY: it's almost February! Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Doing anything this year? We've never celebrated before kids. Maybe we will go see a movie, but that's the extent of it.
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing on demand when I'm home, about 6 times a day and once or twice overnight. We started solids, but its still hit or miss. She doesn't seem to be interested in anything other than oatmeal.
How are nights? Back and forth lately, but usually only about 2 wakes ups, give or take depending on the day.
How is pumping/nursing going? So far so good! Pumping tends to go in waves a little but overall not having issues.
Q/rants/cute stories : Anyone have any tips they'd like to share for getting her to eat other solids? Squash and sweet potatoes have been a hard no, and bananas are a maybe depending on the day. She had been doing great with the cereal, but then we tried the orange veggies and she was NOT a fan, and then went on strike and would even do the cereal for about a week.
GTKY: it's almost February! Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Doing anything this year? DH and I used to, but I guess I've become too practical because I said it wasn't worth going out to a super crowded restaurant with an overpriced and limited menu just to go out on Valentine's day. My parents will be here the following weekend so I said we'd just go out then haha
sandandsea, re: freezer stash.. Someone recommended this to me and it has help me rotate my stash! When I get home from work Friday, I freeze what I brought home and then take from the front of the stash for daycare on Monday. It's helped to keep my stash constantly rotated! But I also haven't really been adding to mine much, so if you're still adding a lot that might not help much.

Yep. I'm rotating it but I have a ton of milk so needed more space anyway.
ginabini try not to put so much pressure on the solids, it takes awhile to ramp up. I'm not sure my LO actually even swallowed anything until 8 months. Lol. We did/do BLW so she was very slow to start but now she eats like a champ and loves pretty much everything!

My DD started slow too. We started with purees and then all the sudden, she was just really in to it. I think it was a month and a half after starting before she was really enjoying eating!
