Hey, got any good books and resources for ASD. I have a couple books, but I'd love more and ones that can help me figure out ways to help him at home. Also, possibly a way of handling behaviors with both my children, like a "discipline" type resource (though I'm not in love with discipline altogether, prefer more gentle ways). Thanks!

I like Coplan's Making Sense of Autism Spectrum Disorders as a good first book, but I relied more on Parenting Your Aspergers Child and The OASIS Guide for strategies for helping him along with his psychologist's therapy and advice. YMMV. Your team might be able to suggest books that would be a better fit for you.

Again, your team probably can make the best suggestions since they know your child. I liked The Explosive Child for discipline even though mine wasn't. JMHO, discipline is good. Positive discipline is great. Think of it from the root of the word which is "to teach"- Christ had disciples, not enforcers.
Which is not ASD specific, but I took one of their courses with a group of parents who each had at least one kid with some kind of diagnosis that affected behavior/social skills.

If you have ABA parenting consulting, it will be much easier to help you and your family with all the discipline the you can combine for both of your kids.
