mominthemaking14 I don't mind pampered chef because it involves food. I'm more likely to buy something from there than other MLM's because I know what I will/won't use in the kitchen.
I left yesterday at 7:30 and today at 7:45 and got to work both days at 8:17. How does that happen? Yesterday I did go interstate and it was slow but today I went the back way and there were 10 stop lights. Idk if the drives were that different. My oldest also forgot his lamby and the room was full of kids I didn't recognize. I felt bad for him.
mrscatfarmer13 I love that! What are you doing to hold on to artwork? (I've been secretly throwing stuff away because too much stuff). I need to come up with a system where I take pictures of most stuff, save a handful of things per year, and toss the rest

So far I haven't kept anything. I plan to keep this though. Maybe I'll get a 3 ring binder and some sheet protectors to keep things in.

I've had this happen a lot. Traffic patterns are so weird. Also depends on the day. Fridays no one is on the road
They gave us these blank little books at church to make a prayer book for our kid with pictures. I just set it aside because we don't have printed pics. Then last night I went to throw away the Christmas cards and had a lightbulb moment. So I cut out the pictures from the cards of the people he knows most and family and glued them into the book and labeled the names by their faces. Then I wrote a short prayer he can recite and go over their names. Just an idea.
ETA: even if you're more spiritual than religious, I'm trying to be mindful in raising a child that values caring for and thinking of others and prayer is a way to do that. But you could make this non religious- just a thinking of you- book.
I never have ideas that line up like that but he saw it this morning and was so excited to have a picture of Hs dad. We don't really have many printed pics of their family.

Good point! Well each of you are invited lol. I bought this can openers and mash and stir thing.

We do a time capsule for A. Each year we save all the Christmas Cards, photo we take as a family and her grand parents do handwritten letters. I also select a few of her artwork items to keep in the capsule. With two it may get interesting but my goal is to keep doing this until at least middle school. I personally love looking back on stuff like this.
I would like to do a ShutterFly book for each of them of pics of their projects and artwork. Like a coffee table book. I'm behind on taking pictures though.
Speaking of MLM, has anyone tried any of R+F stuff? Ive lately been weirdly fixated on how short my eyelashes are and I'm considering trying the lash boost or eyelash extensions (but I know myself and I won't be able to maintain extensions and will be the lady with scraggle eyes).
I just pile all the memory things up in a corner and when they go to college I'll finally have time to do something with them. Maybe I'll finish their baby books then too.

My sister has acne prone skin and uses their stuff. I don't think she has bad acne right now but I don't think it's made any difference in skin quality or wrinkles like they post online. She looks the same.

I haven't because I find their consultants so obnoxious. But I have heard from real people that their stuff works for acne. I think it's the same as Proactive though. I'm skeptical about other products. I feel like they made their name and gained trust on the acne stuff, and the rest is just average.

Our stuff is stuffed in the shoe cabinet and tumbles out whenever someone opens the doors. Sometimes E will stuff a drawing in my purse so I'll pin it on my board in my office. Those will probably be there until I retire.
The negative to not going to daycare... I don't get the cute art projects. She has a few that I've done with her, but not near as many as daycare (maybe this is a positive?). I like the idea of taking pics of them, and only keeping the really really good/cute ones in a binder of some sort.

My mom does them with him probably as much as daycare. I color with him and put that on the fridge but not a cutesy project.

mominthemaking14 - I've never been to a Pampered Chef party or used any of their items. I would go but I loathe when they put pressure on to buy something or host something. Chances are I'll buy something anyway, so don't pile on the pressure.
RE: Art Work. I have visions that once I'm done with work, I'll have time to plan fun activities and projects for babe. Am I delusional?

In my experience there is less pressure from the consultant at in-home parties because pretty much everyone plans to buy something, otherwise they wouldn't show up. The pressure to buy is more like peer pressure, and wanting to help the hostess get rewards. I think everything took a turn for the worse when people decided to start selling primarily on social media because they have to be a lot more annoying about it to get people's attention.
