I managed to make chili, take a nap, do 2 loads of laundry and pick up DD from daycare. I'm feeling pretty accomplished right now. I didn't manage to shower...but minor detail.

ellabee, thanks! I'll give the safari fold a try. Also, high five for doing so much today! And thanks for reminding me that I should try to shower tonight.
Supplementing/ ff mamas: what brand are you using? I used Similac with dd but the pedi suggested Enfamil newborn so I'm trying it. DS has had one 2 oz bottle and has spit up multiple times, at least 5, and they are all a lot and mucousy.
Thanks ladies! Follow up question: he took a 2 oz bottle between 7:45 & 8:45. I have never seen him so gassy and uncomfortable, he is inconsolable. And he has spit up about a dozen times. It's the formula right? I have Similac here too. Should I try that instead? Should I try it with his next bottle? Should I stop bottles for the night and just nurse as much as possible? I feel like such a newbie, dd had no formula problems when we started supplementing.

meeggaannw, sounds like the formula is the problem. I would definitely avoid the enfamil and stick to similac for now.
ETA: maybe nurse at first to help him calm down/ settle his tummy and if you feel the need to supplement, offer similac. If he reacts the same as he did with enfamil I'd say BF rest off the night.

vlagroupie it's definitely trickier with a tiny one. I'm glad I have more experience this time around because I really can't carry the bucket seat yet
weeklyplanner my OB said lifting restrictions for two weeks but that was yesterday and I'm not ready yet. My discharge papers say three weeks. I just lifted DS (32 ish lbs) onto the changing table and instantly regretted it. I have cramps now

Late to the game, as usual, but meeggaannw we are on enfamil newborn as well and I'm wondering if we should switch. B has SO MANY poop diapers every day it's amazing. DD had a milk/soy issue so we ended up on enfamil nutramigen with her. I'm really hoping that we don't go down that road with B!!
Formula Mamas - how many poop diapers do your LO's have per day? I know it varies per child but want to get an idea if we are way out of the ballpark! @joybaby5
