cosmicav, I was worried about that with DS because they told me he was 9 pounds at my 40 week appointment, but he was not even close.
That being said, id love to know how big they think little girl is. I even know it means nothing, but I just feel like she has to be huge with all the limb movement I feel all the time.

Congrats musicallyinclined !!! I can't wait to hear about it. Sorry that the timing wasn't great with your mom leaving and being there for LO.
I'm supposed to be "taking it easy" and not doing anything "too stressful" thanks to my blood pressure. So this morning when I was about 3 minutes from needing to walk out the door the dog threw up and then DS cried about the zipper on his jacket not working, his elbow itching, his sock hurting, and the strap on his car seat being twisted. So that was a good start to my day which I was already abut stressed for because I knew I had a very busy work day lined up. I have a Dr appointment in the morning, I am not anticipating my blood pressure being down. I will be asking lots of questions about what they will do if my BP stays elevated. I really would love that chance to go into labor on my own and if I do have to be induced I really don't want it to be before 41 weeks.
I've been lurking all day. I had a huge blow up with my H this morning and it took a ton out of me. We're made up and he's making dinner as a peace gesture. I even got to pick between tuna casserole and sloppy joes lol, so we're having sloppy joes.
This was the day I was induced for my last pregnancy and it's weird to me that I'm going to stay pregnant longer than last time. I'll admit I'm ready to have this baby but people at work are already saying $hit like "OMG you're still pregnant!?!??"
In cute news, DS has been banging on my belly with his little hands and giggling "baby baby baby" and a little girl at his daycare pointed at me this morning and said "ooh a baby in there!" I'll take toddler pregnancy comments all day long please and thank you.
I had my 36 week appointment today and they told me I was measuring at 39 weeks. JTTW
Vaguely concerned about birthing a giant baby if I go to my due date.
I had been measuring either 39 or 40 weeks since about 35 weeks. My baby was big but not a giant. Have you had a growth scan?
No growth scan so far--this was the first time that baby has measured significantly bigger than my gestation, so they might not be concerned at this point? Possibly baby was just positioned in a weird way? Still, made me a little nervous lol.

cosmicav, with my first my OB was all vague about size and anytime I asked directly she was like "you're on track, I don't worry too much about baby size since we can be so wrong on those things". Then I birthed a 10lb child. I teased her after that she knew baby was going to be big and she just didn't want to scare me. Then her 9lb sister basically fell out of me. I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead again this time too so I'm sure it's another chubber. I've also had friends told they were having big babies or tiny babies who ended up with average 7-8 pounders. Either way I wouldn't worry.
