Well, last night sacked hardcore, but I am making up for it today! When the babies got up at 7:30 I went back to bed until 9. I told H to take a bottle of formula and take the babies with him to synagogue (my ILs are visiting so he has two people to help) and I stayed home for a glorious 4 hours of alone time. I'm pretty sure this is my first time since they were born being home without the babies here, and it feels gooooood.
I made a sensory activity for tummy time! I wouldn't leave them alone with this - potential for breaking open! I read about this online. Fill a gallon ziplock with cheap hair gel ($1.50 at Target) and glitter, beads, you could even put little toys in it (nothing sharp!) and seal the edges with duct tape. It's squishy and interesting to look at, and so far it's been a big hit!
NBR rant- So today I took DD1 to the grocery store. I put the groceries in my car and was pushing the cart to one of the return places like a good person. I stopped to talk to her and was standing next to a car parked in a handicapped spot with a placard hanging from the mirror. Some dickwad says "and why can't you walk?" while pointing to the car. I didn't understand what he was saying at first so I said "what?" And he's like "is that your car?" I just said "uh, NO" pretty sarcastically and he walked a way. What a judgmental piece of crap. I even have an invisible disability but don't have a placard, honestly it would be a huge help if I did have one.

Does anyone have fun superbowl plans? We are having a few friends over and doing make-your-own pizza. I'm excited to have some semblance of a social life!

We're going to my mom's house. I'm waiting to talk to her in person, but I think she may have gotten some bad test results. I'm stressing out about it.

We are going to a party later. It's an older couple, so I'm hoping our clingy girls will enjoy playing with a grandma lady and give me a little break. I'd love to slurp down a glass of wine and some good food! We will likely leave shortly after the game starts to get the girls to bed though.

We having DH's best friend over and will make some pizzas or stuffed breads and some wings. We are anti- the Patriots, so, Go Falcons!
I'm so into these sensory activities! Trying to give E as much floor time as possible. This one is super easy - paint on a piece of paper in a ziplock, taped to the floor. Fun!

hannahbear love the tummy time activities. I need to look up some of these. DD used to love tummy time (would seriously do it for like 20-30minutes), but now she hates it. She typically lasts like 5 minutes now and then wants us to sit her up.

Well, it's not cancer so that was good. I always imagine worst case scenarios. She's had to have her cervix, uterus, ovaries and thyroid removed because of cancer and has had skin cancer. But there is damage to her pancreas, kidneys and liver due to other health issues so now she's not producing enough insulin and has to start medication for that. But at least it's all manageable.
My husband on the other hand has been extremely ill. They're thinking ulcerative colitis. He has a colonoscopy on Wednesday so hopefully we can get some answers.

I'm glad it's not cancer! But sorry about everything else. Sounds like a lot to deal with.

Oh my goodness! That's a lot for anyone to go through. Hoping your H is ok, too!!
