Last night was the first night in Js big girl bed! She did awesome! She ended up on the floor during the first half of the night. And did great after her wake up. She woke up from about 3-4. I laid her in her bed around 4 kissed her, and said night night, and she friend for about 5 mins but stayed in bed the whole time! Now I'm watching her on the monitor walk over to her bookshelf, grab a book, and take it back to her bed to read. She seems very pleased with herself and her independence.
We're just having a boring Friday at home because it's cold out and we're stuck at home this morning anyway hoping the dishwasher repair people get here before a nap is needed. We have a super busy, fun weekend though so looking forward to H getting home this afternoon so it can all start!
And for something completely random, I'm probably more upset ham I should be that the count lost his counting song on Sesame Street and they gave it to Cookie Monster. Cookie eats, count counts. The systems been working since I was a kid. Don't mess with it.
Normal Friday here, too. Groceries before nap. Hoping to get some organizing done during nap. Our closet floor is currently dumping ground for donations. I need to go through and itemize prior to bagging up for donation. I finished listening to the Kon Mari book this week and just want to go through my whole house...alone. Surely my mom will want to watch O so I can organize everything, right?
Morning. I should go into work this morning but I think I'll try and do whatever I can from home today. C did not enjoy stopping by work yesterday (especially since daddy is working off site all week and C can't explore the shop/drive the fork truck.) My mom will be over this afternoon to watch C so I can go meet with the general surgeon about this possible hernia. DH decided it was a Friday night at home (instead of his parents) which I am very excited about. I will be ordering a pizza and having it delivered and hopefully C and DH can spend a little more than 45 minutes together before it's time for C to go to bed. We are heading to Great Wolf Lodge in the Dells tomorrow during Cs nap. I'm excited, but dreading it at the same time.

We are on our way to our pediatric neurologist appointment. I also somehow misplaced my drivers license, so I've been messaging my coworkers in the hopes that maybe it fell out in trlhe truck I was in yesterday. Really do not want to spend hours at the dmv.

LBB is starting to figure out the perks of big brotherhood. Lately all I hear is "BH, can you go get my pants?" "BH, can you pick up the toy I dropped?" "BH, can you carry my lunch box?"
LO fell this morning as I was getting us ready for our mom's club party. She has a big bruise on her forehead and on her upper lip and I feel awful about it. She's been acting completely fine, though, which is good!
I called early this AM to enroll her in gymnastics and the Saturday class was already full and I was #4 on the waiting list. Damn.
Currently under sleeping toddler. He's been super clingy and whiny the past couple days; teething feels so never ending. Guess I'll organize tomorrow. At least we're in my bed and not the rocking chair! billyhorrible, FX for you and the aftermath today.
Yesterday I was scrolling through Facebook and came across this on a local buy and sell of a nearby town. She made it as a high school project for her little brother and he's now outgrown it and she just didn't want it to go to waste and was selling it for quite cheap.
Let's just say...I'm going to have a very happy 3.5 year old tomorrow when this shows up in his room.
ETA tagging wegrowsheep cuz you gotta see this thing
We've been dressing A in a football outfit every time the Patriots played this season. DH put it on him today since it was "Patriot's Day" at daycare. Well A had a massive blowout this morning. There was no saving the outfit. Not remotely possible. Out in the trash it went. So if the Patriots lose this weekend, feel free to blame (or praise, I suppose) A since he can't wear his lucky outfit for the big game.
Also, teachers and students are dropping like flies from norovirus at school. I'm paranoid that I'm going to get it. Hopefully the weekend off will keep it from spreading more than it has.

FX that you leave the virus at school. It is not fun.

DH's family are so...awful? Weird? Heartless? DH just texted me that his uncle died. He's never met the man before. He doesn't even call him his uncle. He calls him "my mom's brother." His mother is relieved he's dead because "he's no longer living a bed ridden life." Except he wasn't bedridden. Everytime she called him while we were at her house aged have to have a nurse go find him because he wasn't in his room.
