B didn't get back to sleep until 6:20 after his 5am wakeup and DD was up at 6:45, so no sleep was had by me. Today's going to be a lazy day. I might venture out at lunch time to get a bowl of ramen at the local Vietnamese-fusion place. Maybe steaming spicy soup will do my stuffy/runny nose some good.
Morninggg! Pretty tired today. L is so congested and gassy. I feel terrible. But something is going around our house I think and DS1 keeps going up to him to say hi and will then cough in his face before I catch him. Ugh. DH woke up sick. We are in fine shape. Bright side is L gave us his first 3 hour stretch! From 430-730!

My longest stretch of sleep last night was 2 hours. Every other wakeup was after only an hour. Thankfully, he just finished nursing. Time to hopefully get some sleep.

I fed her at 6:30 and went back to sleep just for a little while. She should be waking up any minute. Her grunting through the monitor is quite annoying when sleeping. I hope she grows out of it soon.
rinny it's so hard to get over anything when small kids are so ready to *share* 🙄 thelittleredm I hope you get a good nap in today! And have fun on your adventure out of the house!
@joybaby5 I might try that one night lol. So far if our fan is on the white noise makes it easier for me to sleep through and then after I fall asleep I don't notice them anymore.
So C slept from when I posted around 1:15am to 5, ate for 10 min on one side, passed out again and then slept til 8:30. The only thing I did differently last night and night before when she slept great also was turn the vibrate function on her bassinet. Just as a suggestion to you all, maybe that would help?
opheliainwaders twins! Mh is also a lawyer and has a big case on Monday which is why he had to go back to work as soon as we were discharged from the hospital. That's awesome that your h is doing stuff at JFK!
I'm also solo parenting now. My parents left before lunch so this will be a longer solo stretch for me. Of course ds came down with a 101.5 fever last night and has been a grump all morning. He's napping now but I'm guessing the grumpiness will continue. Dd was up every 1.5-2 hours last night so I'll just be throwing goldfish around and hitting the next episode button on Netflix all afternoon.
Had our 1 month appt today, baby is 11 lb 8 oz! I can't believe how big she is compared to my first at this age. I'm relieved she is gaining. But like my first, she is getting a flat spot on the right side so we have to work on getting her to look left more.
I can't wait until DS finished his antibiotics, I think they are making him so fussy. He's only calm during the day in the wrap and after his bath in the evening.
Those with toddler aged kids, what time does your toddler nap and for how long? I am always debating to let DD sleep as long as she wants because maybe she "needs" it or waking her up in hopes of an earlier bedtime.
biscotto DS1 is 21 mo, we let him nap as long as he wants and it typically doesn't affect bed time even if he naps long. He usually goes down around 1.

biscotto, DS will be three in May. He naps for as long as he wants but it's rarely more than two hours. He usually goes down at 1230-1245 right after lunch.
biscotto, 20 months here. Ds goes down around 12:30/1. Sleeps for 45 minutes. *cries* 1.5 hours if I'm lucky and every once in a blue moon 2 hours. I'd let him sleep as long as he wanted but he's always been a crap napper.
opheliainwaders fist bump. Good for him for volunteering though
biscotto I'm so sorry about the tooth, ouch. DS is 2.5 and naps from 2-4 or 2-5 every day. We only wake him if he passes 5:30. Bedtime is 8:15 and he sleeps until 6:45 ish
