I was surprised he isn't higher in percentiles for how large he looks compared to other babies and how heavy he feels and people call him chubby or chunk. Must be all the cheeks, Idk.

Same. I could have sworn this LO is bigger than DS1 at the same age, so I pulled out DS1's 4 month stats. He was actually a whole pound heavier and a half an inch longer than DS2 is right now. I think part of it is DS2 has a bigger head but, even so, DS2 is definitely outgrowing clothes and diapers faster than DS1 did. It's so weird to me.

And yes my baby is having a little frustration with Bf too- I think mainly because he can't look around and wants to see what's going on. It's all just a normal part of BF. I keep the bottles small, the flow slow, and delay solids to 6 months. It just all depends on what your goals are. Formula or bigger bottles didn't help my first sleep. It doesn't make a difference with this baby either. He wakes because of his brains sleep cycles, not because of what he ate that day. Much like adults.

I'm with you on this and glad to hear some validation of what I was thinking. I tend to avoid sleep discussion with my pedi (she suggested CIO for both my kids at 8 weeks old) so I had just told her C slept for 9 hours straight last night and she then brought up increasing the amount to help her sleep more. 9 hours seemed pretty good to me. I also did super slow flow with #1 and have no desire to start solids yet. Thanks

Yeah my pedi was also asking if he was sleeping all night and I laughed at her. Maybe some people lie? Or a lot of people do early CIO but don't say they do? Idk. Most people irl that I know do not have babies sleeping through the night until 1 year. If they do sleep training then it's earlier.

She's in 6 mo cloths but in the hand me down 9 mo sleepers. Size 2 diapers but soon moving to size 3.
She can roll both ways and found her feet this week .

Finally had our appt yesterday

Weight: 16lb 9oz 92%
Height:25 in 69%
Vaccines: whatever the normal ones are. One oral and two shots.
Concerns: none

This girl is a chunk! But healthy as can be. I was worried she would be super cranky after shots but she has been fine.
