tuscanlatte , how's the planner going? I'm so obsessed with my bujo now, thanks to parenting. Hoping to put some time in with it tonight.
It's going good! It's a sanity saver through the stress I've had going on. I made a little planner desk for myself so I have been spending evenings down there watching Gilmore Girls and planning or scrapbooking.
tuscanlatte We are actually thinking about a daybed or loft type bed with trundle/storage when it is time for K to no longer have a crib. Her room is small and I don't know if I will like the loss of space for the full size bed. May just put it in C's room when the time comes. I am half tempted to let them share a room and make hers a playroom until they are older.
I think they can be ok, but the problems we had were:
1. The ladder, ours had to be screwed in. If you could just remove the ladder during the day while the little is too little, that would be a lot easier and the solve the issue.
2. Second issue was the dog. DS likes to sleep with the dog, and would climb down and sleep on the floor with her haha.
So if those things can be resolved I don't think it'd be so bad. The damn ladder was our issue.

RandomName yup! I'll leave there thinking "I should reorganize my cutlery drawer with this new thing I need!" or "lanterns might be nice!" Haha. The kitchen stuff is so cheap too, I'm like "well I kind of need a silver platter for martinis to go on, sure!"
Enjoy your brunch and I hope your school work goes quickly ampaints. We switched DS to a new daycare and I'm worried we made a mistake. The first day he barely ate and was crying at pickup but they said he just started crying when other kids were leaving. Day 2 I picked him up and they said he had a much better day. Day 3 DH picked him up and apparently he seemed sad a lot and cried according to the teacher because DH asked about a red spot by his eye. He has been sick so that confounds things. He is usually pretty adaptable to new situations though. How long do I give it before we think it may be more than just a rough transition?
I'm a day late on this, but trust your gut. For my kids about 1-2 weeks is needed to adjust to the new place, people, and schedule.
When DD was in her first daycare, she did great after her adjustment. Then about 2 months in the daycare hired a new girl who was in charge two days a week. DD started having hard drop offs, was clingy when she got home, and would have days where she cried a lot at daycare or didn't eat much. I doubt the new girl was bad,she was just a bad fit with DD. Luckily I was planning a daycare change anyway so it didn't go on too long. All that to say, you know your kid best. Daycare fit is tough.
We had a meh night. Now I'm hungover and wish we had stayed home and saved our $.
Where did you guys end up going? TBH most of the time I just decide to stay home, drink my own drinks and watch our own TV in my comfy clothes.
We got an Air BNB uptown, had tapas, and went to two bars. When we first got to the condo I told MH that I just wanted to get takeout and stay in. He said we could but I decided we should go out. I'll listen to my gut next time haha.
Headed to a delicious breakfast now so that's fun!
Found our table but need to come back and get with no car seats in car. Also found a new bedroom set(by tax refund) and left with new place mats, a jar with shells for the front table, and new decorations for the dish on our coffee table..
