I really wanted a mani pedi before baby came. I had one right before DS, and it made me feel so good. But I didn't get there in time!
I had an appointment for mani pedis with a girlfriend of mine on 1/21 and a hair appointment scheduled for 1/26 so I could feel all pretty and pampered my last few weeks. Then little miss Z decided to arrive on 1/20 and none of that got done. The only thing I'd done is get my eyebrows waxed two days before she came. Of course I need them done again. Anyway, best laid plans and all that.

WHAT?! Shamrock shakes are out?! OMG I love them!
My house is spotless. Seriously. This baby needs to come today so my family can see how "with it" we are LOL And MH just purged a ton of J's toys. I told you - rampage.

I'm gonna count to 1,000 and then totally get up and do something because you have inspired me!! Way to go on your house-work🙌🏻

We just cleaned too for the ILs coming to supper. It probably won't be cleaned like this again before the baby comes. I forget what our carpet looks like without all of the pet hair and random debris left by a 14mo. Just in front of our door was stuff like a mini book, 3 random socks, one of her Little People, a screwdriver, a lid from a pot, and a granola bar wrapper pulled from the garbage.
She's like a little magpie but goes after everything and instead of hoarding it in one place she just spreads it evenly throughout the house.

FFSC: Shamrock milkshakes are gross.
I'm trying to get the energy to go shower after scrubbing the fridge/freezer, doing dishes, cleaning out 1 kitchen cabinet, changing all the linens, and am on load 6 of laundry.
My running friends are awesome and we are planning on doing an impromptu 5k tomorrow since there are none in the area. I'm excited!

oldbaylover1024 I spent all morning cleaning my house too! I want the baby to come before anyone has a chance to mess it all up again. I literally went crazy- steamed all the floors, cleaned all 3 bathrooms, vacuumed and cleaned Ks toy room. It's not spotless because toddlerhood, but it's pretty damn clean.
On a side note- I'm wicked grumpy to still be pregnant. Wicked. And if anyone else tells me to relax and that she will be here soon- I might have a complete mental breakdown.
Doesn't help I'm working 3 out of 4 nights coming up and missing the super bowl before my maternity leave starts. Grumpy. Grumpy. Grumpy.
Um, that sounds amazing! I'm assuming we don't have those in the U.S.
All you mad cleaning ladies are making me feel lazy. I just finished making 2 freezer meals and folding laundry. I'm trying to get up and mop the stairs. Maybe I'll copy coffeeonice and count to 1,000 and then go work!
I happened to go by Home Goods to take something back and found my curtains for the living room finally! Three pairs of 96" curtains are freaking hard to find. My nails & toes are done, eyebrows waxed & they're currently cleaning my car now. Good day so far 👍🏼

Hugs to all you ladies with overworked Hs! And (flyinghorses6) those who are just plain overworked. I have absolutely no idea how you all are cleaning like mad. At my Thursday checkup Doc recommended that I stop working asap since my joints are so loose and audibly popping with movement. The pain is horrible. So our Saturday has been very laid back. DH let me sleep in, we went out for CFA lunch, went to the post office, got hangers for nursery art, and then DD miraculously went down easy for a two hour nap and so did I. Two hours of solid sleep! And DH got all the nursery art hung in the meantime. It's been a nice day! We'll probably go get DD some new shoes and dinner when she wakes. Never tried the shamrock shake, but now I feel like I might need one. Hugs to everyone, it's so nice having some place to check in and commiserate.

I'm having a day and I'm not in a good place. H is a useless lump on the couch 95% of the time he's home, and today is no exception. So the 37 week pregnant gal who has early labor threatening did the cleaning while he napped.
I told him I haven't felt the baby move much today, he goes "lovely" an then locks himself in the bathroom for 25 minutes.
Needless to say, I texted our pastor and said we need help because this shit cannot continue.
I've never had a shamrock shake. I may need to try it. My hair came out awesome and I can't wait to see peoples' reaction to it!
H is cleaning the guest room and getting it ready for my sister. She is coming to stay with us after the baby is born for a few weekends to help out around the house (she's amazing like that) so I want her to have a nice clean space. I also washed my Baby Breeza today (baby kurig essentially) and I'm just waiting for all the parts to dry to put it together and set it up in the nursery. So some things got done today. The plan is to do a bit more tomorrow before the game
Um, that sounds amazing! I'm assuming we don't have those in the U.S.
What!?!?! How has the US not picked up on this? I'm pretty sure I get like one a week once they're out. Which is a totally disgusting confession on my part but it's so delicious idgaf.

Sorry your H is being so unhelpful and unsupportive of you wildflower810 Maybe he will get it together once baby arrives. Let us know the verdict of baby brezza staz. That looks way fancy. Also, show us your hair if you want!
wildflower810 hugs, lady. That is not okay. I hope your pastor can help and that you can get some rest. Can you just let some of the cleaning slide? Or can you give your H a list?
My h and I are having a day. Henry is in a crazy tantrum mode lately and it's honestly harder to handle with my h here than when I'm alone. So much bickering. I feel badly, but I'm counting the minutes until LO goes to bed. Or my H goes to bed. We just left the grocery buying ingredients for dinner tonight and for the Super Bowl tomorrow and my h announces he thinks we should have a bucket of fried chicken tonight and freeeze the steaks we bought. Ok, h, sure. I guess if he does go out for chicken I can get him to buy some Cadbury eggs so I can make my own mcflurrry...
It's dinner time, and...there is no dinner. DH and DS have been playing in the basement for at least 90 minutes. I also feel like DH could be slightly more helpful with meals.

Ew wildflower810 I would not tolerate that crap. "Lovely" as a response to your baby's well being....I do not like that at all. I would have words. Hugs!

shellbell - He threw it out before you were done with it?! And he's alive to tell the tale?! As he didn't make dinner to make up for it??!! NO.
We literally cleaned the entire house. It smells so good in here! Then we went to Target and I got some new nursing bras and a nursing tank, plus some toiletries for the hospital stay. And finally... Friendly's. OMG that Reese's pieces sundae was the best! I'm stuffed and so happy LOL
I got kinda emotional thinking about this being our last Saturday as a family of three. I'm excited to add baby of course, but I'm a little sad, too. It's weird. I'm weird.

Just got my first "just checking in on you to see if you've had a baby yet" messages. I got two from different people within an hour. As if I am going to just have a baby and not let anyone know. Get off my back! I'm not even term yet!! JTTW.
If this is what the next month will be like, im blocking my ILs and extended family now. Lol

Handing out LTs as I keep caught up. Sorry for all you ladies with overworked husbands! DH has a pretty nice schedule when he's working that allows him lots of time to care of things around the house too (I'm very lucky). It was also part of our deal since I'm the primary income. He works 24 hour shifts then is off for 3 days.
We had our first non doctors office outing today to buy buy baby and used our stroller for the first time. This afternoon some friends came to visit. I felt badly because they're dealing with IF and I know how hard it can be to visit babies. I honestly didn't think the woman would come, just her husband because he's one of DH's best friends, but she came and even held the baby. They had a cancelled IVF cycle over the summer and are gearing up to try again in two months.
Z has been fussy lately, especially when eating. Keep signaling for more than not eating it....
