I'm making taco chicken wonton cups. I throw 2-3 chicken breasts in the crockpot with black beans, salsa, and taco seasoning. Cook for a few hours, and 30 mins before they're done, I throw in some frozen corn.
Shred the chicken. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray, and put a wonton wrapper in each. Spoon in the chicken, top with cheddar cheese, bake for 8-11 mins at 375 (I think... might be 350... I followed the directions on the wonton package).
I made it last week and it was awesome. I didn't miss the noodles at all. I doctored up the sauce a bit because I like a sweeter sauce, and I used ground chicken breast instead of ground beef. But DH and I loved it (and my kids cry if we ask them to eat anything other than pasta or grilled cheese, so I did not waste it on them).

So far it's pulled pork, pigs in blankets, chili and cheese chip dip, and meatballs (in a chili sauce/grape jelly mixture - sounds weird but it's delicious). I know MH is planning more but IDK what.
I'm doing a bacon/ranch/cheese tater tot casserole. Friends are bringing chili and BBQ kielbasa in crockpots. For dessert I made red, white, and blue rice krispy treats. And I bought a ton of Ring Pops so we can all celebrate Tom's "one for the thumb" when he wins.
twinmomma, tell me more about the bacon ranch tater tot casserole!
Well I found this, but don't want to deal with skewers. So I'm going to turn it into a casserole type deal instead. Probably by adding more cheese. My sister insists it'll work out fine. www.madewithhappy.com/loaded-tater-tot-skewers/

We are having turkey taco burgers (the meat has taco seasoning, onion, and roasted red peppers mixed into the patties) topped with queso. And guacamole and black bean and corn salsa with chips. The kids are getting nuggets. We also have carrots, cheese, crackers, pits and hummus for snacking.
I should mention we aren't actually watching the Super Bowl.

I'm half tempted to drive 30 minutes for Italian nachos, but that probably won't happen. I'm not sure what or when I'll be eating. Dh and ds are going to a super bowl/birthday party at my brothers where hopefully they will bring a plate of snacks and cake home for me. I told Dh I just wanted a small piece and I'd scrape the icing off and if he doesn't bring it home I'll probably cry.

Update: cake made it home. Dh can live another day. But only if he stops describing the delicious food that I had to miss out on and would have had to skip anyways had I gone.
