I used that weight to do my own half assed weighted feed since she went back on after, she took in roughly 1.5 oz in 25 mins. Is that average? Good or bad? Is my kid just a little piggy?

Is it possible that she's having a growth spurt and cluster feeding?

This could be it. The first is at 7-10d which would fit your LO's age right pibblemom?

It's very possible. She's 8 days old, but also has been a cluster feeder from early on. DH and I were just commenting that she doesn't look like a newborn anymore. She looks like a baby. She's definitely plumped up in the face and I don't think nb clothes are going to be much longer
silvermelody, she was 8 lbs at birth and dropped to 7 lbs the night before discharge when they forced me to supplement. The day after discharge we were at the pedi and she was 7 lbs 1 oz, he said at the next appt she needs to be 2 lbs up, so roughly 1 oz/day like you said. I'll weigh her on a full belly and empty diaper today and see if we get to 7 lbs 4 or so.
One of the MWs just stopped in again to check my bp progress (she's very happy how I'm recovering, thankfully) and I spoke to her about it. She's not the least bit concerned and said C looks great and if she's peeing, pooping and showing a gain, all is good, but I am still planning to go to lactation circle and then speak to the other MW on Tuesday
